  1. Orion reports requested in Redtail

    When in a contact's accounts on the Orion tab & a report is needed the contact/account information has to be re-keyed in. It would be a nice time saver if the fields would fill with the contact/account information.

  2. adding the feature of Nicknames to labels so that I don't have to cut and paste everything for my 400 holiday cards

    currently labels pull the full name or family name. It would be also good to pull the nickname as people often use their preferred nickname not their full name.

  3. Activity Location and Attendees need to show in Notes once an activity is saved & complete

    Activity Location and Office Attendees need to show in Notes once a meeting activity is saved & complete. This would be helpful for future reference to know which advisor met with client and where did they meet.

  4. Links in Automated Redtail Notification Emails

    When a notification is emailed, it should have a corresponding link in the email to click to take you directly to the task/activity.

  5. Add spouse nickname to merge field

    Add a merge field for SpouseNickname. Currently the only option defaults with the Spouses first name, if the Nickname field is empty.

  6. By being able to print what you see on the calendar with no changes being added.

    Please do not include linked contact at the beginning of a template being used on calendar. What we put & see on the schedule should be what is printed. Also, it only adds the contact name at the beginning if there is just one. If multiple contacts are listed, nothing is put there, only making the printout more inconsistent. We add the client name to the subject line so that it appears on the schedule when we look at it. Otherwise you have to hover over each appointment during the day to see the name of the client coming in. …

    Have a column on the main WORKFLOWS page showing the current task assignee. Would be nice to filter by who owns the current task.

  9. custom export- spouse

    For “Spouse” in Custom Export… include Employer as a field (since Job Title is already an option there). It would be so helpful to have this field as an option.

  10. Ability to add more than two people as account owners

    When assigning ownership of an account to a contact, you can currently only assign two owners. I have several accounts with 3 or more owners, so the ability to add more would be nice.

  12. Orion Household Linking for Spouses

    Currently, a contact in RedTail links to the Orion household with matching Tax ID. This is great, except when I try to link spouses to the household. Currently, the spouse would have a separate household. This is not practical since most couples want their assets together. Please look into the additional household members Tax ID being picked up for linking households in addition to the main Tax ID - or maybe there is a way to manually select a household to link a contact to.

  13. A way to set business hours, so activity update notifications via Notify Team only come through by email during that time frame.

    I work after-hours, and update numerous activities at night or evening time. I would love if there was a way for users to set their own business hours in Redtail (not from their email), so I can use the Notify Team feature as I go without bothering them.

    (My current workaround is to mark the activity title with a symbol, then the next morning, go back into each task I updated, and select Notify Team, then save it again so they're notified.)

    The suggestion would be to implement a way to delay the activity notifications so they are not sent…

  14. accounts tab

    Under "Basic Information" the "Company" field... it would be super cool if you would make it a "live" field that connects with the contact page of the company. And then on that company's page, perhaps we could eventually see all the accounts linked with that company.

  15. When pulling a report, it would be helpful to pull using Primary Address only.

  16. hover over client name and show preferred contact method

    When hovering over a contact it'd be good to see the preferred method of contact bolded like in the contact card so we don't have to have to click in the contact card to see what the preferred method is.

  17. Better Details When Hovering On Activity On Calendar

    I was looking at what additional information showed up when you hover over an activity and the only new info was the attendee. For most people they only see their own calendars so that was obvious. It'd be more helpful if we could see the activity description when we hover as well as the activity type (in case we haven't memorized what each color means) and category.

  18. Copy TASK notes into STEP notes inside workflows.

    Often the first task of a workflow, has a bunch of questions that the originator of the workflow will need to answer.

    The current workaround, is to copy the questions, then paste them into step notes, and answer them inside step notes, before proceeding to the next step.

    It would save time to have a button to copy the task notes directly to step notes.

  19. Indicate task notes exist in a workflow

    In many workflows, we have task notes (instructions, templated emails, files etc.) embedded into the templates.
    It would be good to have a visual indication in the main workflow page next to each task, if there are embedded notes. Just a little star or checkmark or something. This way, a user would not have to hover to see if there are embedded TASK notes.

  20. Viewing team members inside a workflow - hover and pop up

    If a task is assigned to a team, I'd like to be able to hover over the team, to see who the member(s) of that team are.
