  1. It would be extremely beneficial to be able to see the AUM by user

    Currently we have offices in different locations but all users under the same Redtail account. The clients are currently assigned to their respective user/team so one can not see the other's client info. We would like to be able to see the AUM by user/team as well.

  2. Account feed integration with Nationwide

    We have many clients with accounts at Nationwide that do not feed into Red Tail. It would be helpful if Nationwide was an option on the integration list.

  3. To be able to separate clients by rep code, without the database owner having full access.

    Having a new rep join our firm, we are transferring clients from the database owner to him. However, the data base owner, still has access to all clients they are not easily identified who the client belongs too. There should be a way to have separate access to clients per rep code.

  4. Entering Contact Data

    Anytime you upload a husband and wife at the same time, any info loaded for one contact should automatically feed into the other contact as well-to avoid redundant entering and save time.

  5. Create excel reports of account details for accounts or family accounts

    Make excel exports of account details or family accounts details available for advisors to use with account reviews rather than just the pdf version.

  6. Please add Annuity as an Asset Type

    Please add Fixed / Fixed Index / Variable Annuity under Asset Type in Account settings.
    *** This should be there already since so many others use your system from an Annuity based FMO Platform ... AND HAVE ASKED FOR IT FOR SOME TIME NOW

  7. Make Albridge downloads more detailed; they are too basic.

    Albridge downloads should include company name, account or product type, holding details and how the account is titled. Currently all we get is an account number and account value.

  8. Remove Unused Account Types

    We use only eight of the account types Redtail provides - we added an additional six unique to our firm. It would be helpful if we could remove or hid the unused types or change the order so they are at the bottom

    Include the specific Account ID # on Custom Exports to ease the ability to make bulk changes to detailed account information for RedTail to update via spreadsheet.

  14. Personalization of information presented in "Accounts" under a Contact.

    Under Accounts you see 2 columns of boxes with different Information under the box for Account Assets such as the left column: Basic Information / Beneficiaries / Riders / Agents / Ownership / Strategic Allocation Model / User Defined Fields and then the right column: BICE Dates / Account Dates / General Info / Payment Info / Other / Transactions. I understand having Transactions at the very bottom, but I'd like to move those boxes in the 2 columns to fit what I'd like to see without having to scroll down.   15. combining accounts

    When running a report of accounts by contact - when combining accounts, the system should automatically combine based on account numbers. And possibly do a bulk action. Also, the account with the data inputted should automatically be the primary acct rather than the new one with only the account value.

    When viewing a contact's accounts there should be an option in the drop down that allows us to close accounts that currently show as open.

  17. It would be awesome if from the search function I could hit "next" without having to go back to the clients' main page.

    It would be awesome if we could hit "next" on a client record after pulling them up in a search regardless of what page we're in on the client. For example, I am sweeping through all of our client accounts in the CRM for fee clients. I searched them, went into the first one, went to accounts, then had to go back to the client main page to hit "next" to look at the next contacts accounts. It would save a lot of time to be in accounts, then simply hit next for the next record.

  18. Account Types with RELEVANT fields

    I see Redtail created account templates but included only a portion of the fields needed for the type of policy as well as kept ALL the other fields that have no relevance so it takes up so much screen real estate and has no purpose. Example, why does an IRA account have Face Value, surrender value and annual premium fields- but does not have RMD fields that would actually be useful information to know. Also, why does Term Insurance policies have cash value/surrender value fields when these are not cash accumulating accounts? Remove the fields from account templates that provide…

  19. Make account status default to "Pending" for manually entered accounts

    When accounts are manually entered, they typically are not at the "Open" stage initially. We would like to see the default as "Pending". This way we can filter Pending accounts to see what we need to work on. Downloaded accounts can stay with a default of "Open".

  20. Populate account company & type

    New Linked Accounts that come over from our vendors only have a few pieces of data that is guaranteed to come along with it. We would like to see the Account Company and The Account Type auto populate with the account number, balance and other provided information. Account company shouldn't be a huge issue - we should know where the information is coming from.
