  1. Add Transactions to Quick Add

    Please add a Transactions link to Quick Add on the top toolbar. It needs to have the option to add client. This will allow users to receive and log deposits to clients' accounts without having to go into the contact record, then to transactions, then to add. Thanks for considering

  2. List usage

    Allow us to run a report to see every list in the database in one spot and how much each list item is used.

  3. advanced search improvement with parenthesis and searchable quicklists

    I want the ability to search with quicklists in addition to other criteria. I may have built a complex quicklist and I want to not repeat creating that all the time so I need to be able to pull those up. Also, allow for parenthesis so I can make a more specific search. I want to be able to search Status=Client & (category=active or category= inactive). Now I would have to search for (Status=Client & category= active) or ('Status=Client & category=inactive). And the parenthesis are forced. So instead of a simple three criteria search, I end up with four. And…

  4. UDFs should be able to be used in the advanced search feature.

    It would be really helpful if we could use UDFs in the advanced search feature, allowing us to filter by more than one report. We need to be able to search by advisor AND specific UDFs. This would make UDFs much more useful, especially for RMDs.

  5. A folder option of quicklists

    I am creating many different quicklists, and it would be very handy to be able to group them into folders.

  6. display "searched contacts" word

    When entering a contacts name in the "search contacts" on the top of the screen, I wish it would show the word I just typed when showing results.

  7. Mail Merge

    In Leapfrog, when I would create a mail merge document it would create the document and then the mail merge window would close, which makes sense. In Tailwag, I create a mail merge document and then the mail merge window doesn't close. I have to go back and close each window that the mail merge option brings up. I don't understand why it doesn't just disappear like it did in Leapfrog. Seems like the system engineers forgot to code that step.

  8. Add "in the list" to search Operand and free text field for "Begins With"

    The search operands should include "In the list." For example, if I want to search all clients who have a certain type of account within a certain age group, within a tri-state area, I must enter so many lines of search parameters and repeat it for each state. I should be able to search State using the operand "Is in the list" and enter MA,RI,NH or MD,DC,VA and it will pull clients from any of those states.

    In addition, we have our Clients labeled differently depending on category Client-Gold, Client-Silver, Client-Platinum, etc. We would like to be able to search…

  9. Streamline search entry

    Entering a simple query to find all active clients where we have multiple client categories takes a lot of entry. Would like to be able to specify something like this--Enter the criteria for Status Active like we do today, then select AND, then enter Contact Category Equals and then multi-select all the values on the dropdown that we want to include. Instead we have to enter 2 lines of criteria for each category (Active status and one client category on each).

  10. Have the same alphabetical search feature for quicklists like it has for all contacts

    Within a quicklist there's no easy way to quickly navigate to the "Z" people and switch back to another alphabet for marking for bulk actions purposes. Scrolling when you have hundreds of a contact in a list is tiresome. The advance search is intimidating for our elderly employees. The alphabetical sorting system in the "Contact A-Z" tab will work perfectly. Can we please have this feature for quicklist too?

  11. Search clients/prospects based on distance from a specific address or zipcode

    I'd like to be able to type in a specific address or zipcode & select all clients and/or prospects within or outside of an x-mile radius.
    Currently I'm having to type each dern zipcode separately to find clients who are too far away since our city is so spread out. I cannot just type "exclude" and then the cities, because the city itself is so big that your address can say you're in the city & still be 1.5 hours away.
    This would be very useful for when we throw client events, but have clients who are too far away…

  12. Search boxes

    When I want to link a contact to an activity and the search box comes up, I have to physically click again in the search box to type. Can't it just pop up and automatically put the cursor in the box to start typing?

  13. Allow "suffix" to be a contact search field

    Seriously? I don't know why we have to post these ideas after the techs tell us it can't be done. Every field in a client name should be searchable--and suffix is not. Add it to the list of fields, please. Every single "Sr." and "Jr." is screwed up and I want to fix them.

  14. Tag Groups

    I use tag groups very often, so therefore I have a long list of them. Every time I need to add someone to a tag group and click on save -- I have to scroll all the way down the list to "save it" . I have over 50 tag groups so it gets annoying after awhile especially if I'm working on a long list of people to add. Can you please do a drop down arrow on the same line to save so we don't have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the list.

  15. Improve search box flexibility.

    For example I have a client John Smith. If I search for "Smith, John" or "John smith" Nothing comes up. Must be a perfect match, "John Smith". Can't the search box be more flexible, smarter?

  16. Go To Workflows

    It would be handy to have a shortcut on the contact search screen after running a search to take you directly to a client's workflow screen. I see that most other sections of a contacts record are there, just not workflows. Probably an easy addition! :) Thanks!

  17. Advanced Search always available

    Advanced Search should be available anytime the search bar is available, just to the right of the bar. Currently, on pages where only the search bar is available, I have to 'search' a blank search field, then click Advanced Search when it appears. There's space for an Advanced Search link out to the right of the search bar.

  18. Improve contact search.

    When I search for a client using first and last name, it won't show results if the contact card has a middle initial and i didn't type that in.

    For example, if the contact card says, "John Q. Smith" and I search for "John Smith" no results come up.

    Can we also have it show suggestions/similar names? If I don't know how to spell a name and am only off by one letter, can it suggest names like Google does?

    Ex: If I search for Smoth, could it say, "showing results for "Smith" instead."

    Some people have terrible names that…

  19. Quicklists-"BEGINS WITH" sort feature does NOT work.

    When you I request the database to return a field that "Begins With" it doesn't currently work.

    ie: Contact - Status - Begins With - "Client" - will ONLY bring up "Client" and not the additional statuses we have set up such as: "Client-Spouse", "Client-CB Family/Friend", nor "Client-Child of Client".
    This is a very basic database feature and it was functioning in the previous version of Redtail. Please fix this! :)

  20. Quicklist User Specific

    We should have the ability to make quicklists only show up for ourselves. I don't want to see everyone else's quicklists, which pertain to their clients. I only want to see the quicklists relating to my contacts and clients. The list gets too long and it's annoying to find the quicklist that I want when I have to sort through everyone else's lists also.
