    You should be able to run a report of "departments" in business contacts.

  3. search

    When searching a name there should be an option to have results populate within the "search contact." For example, if I type in "syd" the results should pre-populate below before hitting "enter."
    There should also be an option where I type "syd hor" and press enter and all the results for those figures should populate. This would make searching much easier.

  4. copy entries

    At my insurance companies each individual policy holder gets their own entry. However, husbands and wives often buy their individual policies at the same time and usually name their children as beneficiaries. The information is usually identical for every single field. It would be great if an entire entry could be copied, and then edited for the few changes, e.g. name, mobile, SS#, etc. Tks

  6. Add the picture from the app

    the ability to add the contact picture right from the APP make the most sense. I would like to see them a little bigger on the page as well.

  7. Options for a condensed client record view

    I would love to see an option for a more condensed view of the website. I have to have the window very wide to be able to see the full menu on the left side, and there is excessive "white space" throughout the window. Back when I used to use ACT!, I was able to see everything for a client in one window, without having to scroll or go to different parts of the contact record (and, monitors were much smaller in those days!).

    Maybe there could be an option to add widgets and customize the experience? And allow for…

  9. non-linear2: My brain loves non-linear, whole views. The big picture.

    And I'd love to be able to track tasks for a client by viewing everything -- all the current & upcoming tasks for that client and maybe an aggregate of clients: all on one page. Not linear. An overview. Overview -- so my team & I can see the same thing and where each other is with this client.

  10. Add riskalyze to main contact record

    I was wandering if you could add the riskalyze score on the main page of a contact record? There seems to be plenty of empty space next to the clients nae that a small version of the Risalyze speed limit sign could go in.

  12. mail merge fields

    Why is it taking so long to make more mergeable fields? There should have been updates to these along time ago. Mail Merge items that are of DIRE NEED are:
    SSN (client & spouse)
    Cell phone # (client & spouse)
    DOB--spouse is not
    email address -- spouse is not
    FULL NAME -- spouse to many merge fields to get one result
    ID #'s (client & spouse)
    ETC.
    IF it is on the contact record we should not have to export the information into a spreadsheet and then put it into a word document not very efficient!

  13. Past Due and Next 30 - View ALL

    Under Contacts > Client Name > On the Client Past Due and Next 30 Days tab... can you add all future activities to the client screen instead of just Past Due and the Next 30? I don't want to just see 30 days out. I want to see all the events/activities that are scheduled.

  15. Ability to sort/move contact info sections

    Please add the ability to personalize the order of the sections under a contact record. Currently, the order is:
    Contact Name
    Accounts
    Activities
    Documents
    Etc.

    At least half of these are unused by our company. It would be really nice if each user, or even the company admin, could arrange these so that the most used sections are at the top.

  16. Advanced Search

    When doing advanced search in contacts there are WAY to many buttons to click. Its extremely time consuming to have narrow searches. It should be more selective, not drop downs that have to populate and click through a ton of options.

  17. Automation triggered when contact's employer information is updated

    We would like to create a workflow when an investment client's employer information is updated (401k rollover opportunity). We will now need to manually trigger the workflow if and when we remember. It would be nice to have a way to automate this. Thanks!

  18. Redtail Mobile App 3.0+ View Household Members

    When going to visit clients we like to ask how the family is doing. While on the road we like to review the clients info so that we better know our client when we walk in the door. Names are important for us so If we can view household members and link them to a contact record that would finally allow us to move from Outlook notes to being fully covered with just the RedTail mobile app. I know there are similar ideas out there but with the new mobile app update I wanted to iterate how knowing our client…

  19. Automatically Link Contacts with their Company

    When you search for a company and then click on it, you should be able to automatically see the people associated with that company, without having to manually add them in the department fields, which doesn't search for existing contacts to add. When you add a contact and their Company Information, they should automatically be associated with that Business. When you search for a company in the search box, the list should include those contacts associated with the company. (FYI - per a response in a closed posting. Using the Advanced search feature to do this is not an acceptable…

  20. A button to convert a opportunity into the contact

    It would be great if there was a button to convert an opportunity into a contact. Instead, a person needs to carefully copy all the information between the two
