  1. Set workflow due date a specific day of the week before

    For example, I would like to say that a task is due the Friday before the target date

  2. Add activities to left menu bar

    Separate appointments (or events) from activities. Task activities don't belong on the calendar and take up too much space at the top of the calendar. A separate activities section that lists lists all tasks like Outlook is desperately needed.

  3. Workflow Complete Triggers Additional Workflow

    Completion of one workflow should be able to be a trigger event to another workflow. This would allow an automated bridge to connect related workflows.

  4. Adding a "deceased" tag to the "married to" section on contact record

    It needs to be more apparent when on viewing a contact's profile that their spouse is deceased. Right under the contacts name lists who they are married to, but you won't know they are deceased unless you click in the profile or family tree. Please stop the insanity of unnecessary clicks and add a flag or something that shows the spouse is deceased within the "married to" area!

  5. Filter client reviews and birthdays by user

    Client reviews and birthdays are currently showing up for EVERYONE in the calendar, even if only "Me" is selected in the user filters. It becomes really cumbersome to try and weed through all the reminders and reviews in the calendar when you're looking at 12+ advisors' review dates. It would be really great to be able to filter these reminders out by user so servicing advisors only see reviews and birthdays assigned to their clients. Our workaround for this is for every advisor to create an activity to reminded themselves of an upcoming review, but doing this is an extra…

  6. When adding a note, Redtail users that have access to more than one database should have the option to copy the note to the other databases

    Members of our team support multiple advisors that share clients but have different Redtail databases (support staff has access to both databases). When adding a note to a contact's page, we would like to have the option to duplicate that note to the other databases that we have access to. There should be something like a check box to select "copy note to another database" so that we do not have to copy and past the note.

  7. Workflow - Linked Accounts

    Workflows - subject details to include account numbers:
    We are setting up workflows to trigger based off of account numbers and account types. Workflows on contact level or when you run the workflow report currently do not show the account number. This is an issue if there are more than one workflows triggered at once. Yyou would then have to click into the workflow to see notes or details or rely to where you are within the workflow which is not great. There should be a way for the account number to show within the subject of each workflow once…

  9. copy and paste in completed activities

    Once an activity is completed, you cannot copy any of that information unless you "uncomplete" it first.
    We need to be able to copy what is written in our completed activity without uncompleting it.

  10. Custom Export from Reports

    I would like to be able to custom export from the accounts by contact report and other reports so I can get the information I want for the items in the report from the applied filters.

    for example, in the current report, I cannot filter by or export the issue date

    and if I use the search, then ALL accounts export and I do not want that- I only want accounts of a certain Type and status in the results.

  11. Customize Email Viewing Permissions

    We need to be able to see all emails to a contact within the firm, but we do not want ALL emails to be seen by ALL users when clicking under the email (personnel, payroll, etc does not need to be seen globally). This is not currently possible. Major negative to using Redtail email all the way around.

  12. hide saturday and sunday from calendar

    it would be great if we can hide saturday and sunday from the work week / calendar especially now that full details is no longer viewable without having to hover over appointment.

  13. Speed and responsiveness of Retail is TERRIBLE, please improve!

    Of all the web based programs we use, Retail is the slowest, most unresponsive. Continually timeouts, freezing and general lack of functionality makes the heart of our business dysfunctional. Needs to improve or we will be forced to find another CRM solution.

  14. RMD Ages in Contact Information

    Someone just emailed me asking about putting the client age in years and months (78.8 years) so they can see the client's exact age for, example, taking a withdrawal without penalty. They suggested it would be in the Contact Details under the DOB. Thanks!

  15. RMD Value & Information section

    In the account section, I'd love to have an area specifically for RMD info.

    There is the general info section, which duplicates the issue date (listed in the account dates), the cash value and as of date (which duplicates the account assets balance), face value (which duplicates the coverage info), surrender value and as of date, loan balance, asset rebalance and rebalance frequency. Why can't an RMD info section be added, or the general section modified to include 12/31 year end value, RMD value, a check box for auto RMD, and that type of information? I'd love to be able…

  16. Right Click on Calendar Activities to Open them in a new Tab

    When viewing the calendar in day or week view, it would be great to be able to right click on a specific appointment and open that Activity in a new tab. This way we can keep the calendar view up and uninterrupted, but also be able to view the details of the activity by simply taking us a to a new tab.

  17. Allow Customization of the Know Your Client Tab

    All advisor offices do client reviews a little differently. Many use the information on the Know Your Client tab during the review. However, the fields on the KYC tab are limited and static. If an advisor wants to add information about their long-term care or disability policy, or other options discussed, that field is not on the tab, nor can you run reports for it. If an advisor wants to discuss position concentrations, and possible trading options, that field is not on this tab. It would be great if you built in the flexibility for each advisor to customize this…

  18. There NEEDS to be an easier way to copy over information on a Clients Contact Card to their spouse.

    When a client is deceased you can easily move over the notes with the "move notes" tab to the surviving spouse. However, we need an easier way to move over the contact card, keywords, and tag groups. We want to keep the deceased profile information for our records so we cannot simply merge the contact. Copying and pasting each piece of the information is a pain. Even when creating a new profile for a new client you have to copy and past all of the information into the spouses profile.....cant there be an option to make the client information match…

  19. Add more Automation Triggers

    It would be nice to have the following workflow triggering event.
    1. Account Status Change - If an account is marked closed it would be great to trigger a workflow.
    2. Marital Status change - This would be nice to trigger a workflow any time a client gets married, gets divorced, etc.

    We need a way to save files and track files at various stages of completion within Redtail.

    *Original Docs - blank docs, per document/form required to create one complete application package
