  1. Advanced Search

    When doing advanced search in contacts there are WAY to many buttons to click. Its extremely time consuming to have narrow searches. It should be more selective, not drop downs that have to populate and click through a ton of options.

  2. Automation triggered when contact's employer information is updated

    We would like to create a workflow when an investment client's employer information is updated (401k rollover opportunity). We will now need to manually trigger the workflow if and when we remember. It would be nice to have a way to automate this. Thanks!

  3. Redtail Mobile App 3.0+ View Household Members

    When going to visit clients we like to ask how the family is doing. While on the road we like to review the clients info so that we better know our client when we walk in the door. Names are important for us so If we can view household members and link them to a contact record that would finally allow us to move from Outlook notes to being fully covered with just the RedTail mobile app. I know there are similar ideas out there but with the new mobile app update I wanted to iterate how knowing our client…

  4. Automatically Link Contacts with their Company

    When you search for a company and then click on it, you should be able to automatically see the people associated with that company, without having to manually add them in the department fields, which doesn't search for existing contacts to add. When you add a contact and their Company Information, they should automatically be associated with that Business. When you search for a company in the search box, the list should include those contacts associated with the company. (FYI - per a response in a closed posting.   5. A button to convert a opportunity into the contact

    It would be great if there was a button to convert an opportunity into a contact. Instead, a person needs to carefully copy all the information between the two

    Sure would be helpful to have an option for Common Law in the Marital Status options.

  7. Being able to arrange contact card

    Being able to arrange the contact card, possibly with a drag and drop feature. Or possibly set that up in preferences so all contacts are uniform.

  8. Changing a UDF takes too many clicks

    When a UDF is assigned to a contact and I want to change the value, it takes 5 clicks. Instead of having to click "edit" on the blue-arrow menu next to the UDF name, why not just be able to change the value right there on that screen?

    We'd like to post a note to our Client's main page (where you can see the Past Due & Next 30 Activities, the Contact Card, the Contact Details, etc) that anyone who has access to that client can see when the contact pulls up. Like a "pinned" note that never leaves, is clearly visible. Like Important Information, but visible at all times when in the Contact's Record, without the need to click anywhere else to see it.

  10. Add wording for "Primary" and "Secondary" advisor or make "Servicing" and "Writing Advisor" editable.

    We have used the terminology of "Primary" and "Secondary" Advisor for our clients. To keep it consistent with what we have done, we would like to be able to edit the current system.

    Also, we would like to be able to add another role called "Relationship" advisor.

  12. Moving Driver's License under Contact Details

    Make it so that the Drivers License Information is stored under Contact Details with their Social Security Number. During Tax Season this would be a big help so we can at a glance see if we need to update their information

  13. Retriever - Multiple Syncing Destinations

    Create the ability to sync different Quicklists to more than one destination folder in Outlook. For example, I would like to keep prospective client contacts separate from my active client contacts in both RedTail and Outlook. As of right now, I am only allowed to choose a single folder for contacts to sync into, no matter how many different Quicklists I have.

  14. Misc Client Info Add Medicare Section

    On the same premise of the Misc Client Info with Driver License can we add a section where we can import our client Medicare Card information. We do Financial side of things but also have where we help our clients with Medicare Coverage. Us having this space to add the Medicare ID # and Part A effective date and Part B effective date.

  15. deceased but no date

    A way to make a contact as deceased, but without having a date of death. Sometimes we have contacts who have passed away, but we've not been given their date of death.

  16. When entering a new contact, and add their workplace, CRM creates a business contact as an additional client. Can this be eliminated?

  17. Add "Estate" as a Contact Type

    Hi, we get a good number of estate accounts. I've resorted to labeling the contact type for these accounts as Trusts, however that is not very accurate. Could Estate be added as a Contact Type? Thank you.

    The current No Contact report needs an additional option. This report was available prior the Tailwag transition. We need a way to run a report to see if a client was "truly' contacted by phone (phone call out - phone call incoming - phone call left msg). Meaning, a note or email will not cause for the client to not be generated on the report. This report is important to advisors wanting to remain in contact with their clients and find any that, for whatever reason, have not been contacted.   20. user mail merge

    In ACT!, users were tied to their own Redtail contact records, and the user data drove mail merges etc. It would be great if I could launch a mail merge template and Redtail would KNOW that I (the user) am going to sign it, so it would pre-populate my name and title based on my contact record. This was how ACT! did it.
