  1. Automatic Email or Text Message Appointment Reminders to Clients

    Could Redtail generate a reminder email (or even text message) to clients 24-48 hours prior to a scheduled appointment? The reminder would be generated by the calendar appointment and be sent to the email or phone number within the linked contact screen.

  2. RMD Value & Information section

    In the account section, I'd love to have an area specifically for RMD info.

    There is the general info section, which duplicates the issue date (listed in the account dates), the cash value and as of date (which duplicates the account assets balance), face value (which duplicates the coverage info), surrender value and as of date, loan balance, asset rebalance and rebalance frequency. Why can't an RMD info section be added, or the general section modified to include 12/31 year end value, RMD value, a check box for auto RMD, and that type of information? I'd love to be able…

  3. Allow Color Coding on the Calendar by Advisor/Employee

    It would be nice to be able to color code our calendar by the person the task is assigned to rather than the type of appointment. I know others like the status quo so if there would be a way to choose between both features that would help out our company nicely.

  4. Client Review should read 'Last Review' and should be 'Overdue' if not completed on time

    know your client, client review tab should read "last review" and if the next review is not completed on time, it should read "overdue"

    We are reviewing the Client Review feature as a whole for some major adjustments.
    We appreciate your suggestions, as they will help us to make the necessary changes that will be most beneficial to everyone using the Client Review feature.

  5. Show All Family and Memberships Relationships on the Same Page so that I can track Multiple Generations

    The Family/household page provides a nice tree of relationships for dependents. However, when the other members become clients it creates a conflict and we must move them to a seperate contact or the head of household for children overrides address contact fields. We then must use Memberships page- which has NO easy view.

    I am asking that all relationships show on the family page regardless of dependent status by having a dependent option on setup. The view would be maintained including parents grandparents kids inlaws etc. But contact data could be dependent on head of household or not dependent based…

  6. Option to automatically rollover activity

    It would be helpful to have an option when creating an activity to automatically roll activity over until activity is completed. This would be nice for an activity that we assign to an employee that we want them to see everyday until it's completed. It would be nice in a situation where we assign an activity to an employee and give them a week to do it. It won't fall off the dashboard after a day. And it would also be helpful when I assign a task to myself that I know I probably won't get done today and want…

  7. need all fields available to select from for custom reporting

    We need to option to select from ALL fields within a client record and their account records for custom exporting, and would love to have the option to run it in a nice PDF format.

  8. Ability to sort columns throughout Tailwag

    We can't sort anything anymore. The old version allowed us to sort whenever their was a column. This should be updated on everything from activities on the overview page, accounts, company appointments, etc. Otherwise, we can't find anything. For example, the company appointments are listed based on the order they are added. If we can't sort, then it is just one big jumbled mess. It seems that the only place we can sort is on the workflows screen.

  9. Ability to add spouse DOB and edit spouse status from the Add Contact screen

    Currently if you want to add a spouse DOB or change them from a Not Specified contact to a Prospect-Spouse, for example, you have to wait until you are done creating the contact and them open the spouse's profile separately to add that information. It would be nice to eliminate this step by allowing that info to be entered at the same time you create the initial contact. The previous version had this capacity and it changed with the new version.

  10. When creating new activity, give users the option to make the "more details page" the default.

    Currently, there are lots of suggestions for fixing the abbreviated activities dialogue box. Many users are unhappy with the multi-step process for assigning activities to other users, adding notes, etc. It's very inefficient and lots of users prefer the Leapfrog approach to adding activities - one dialogue box with all the details on one page. It was very efficient.

    Maybe the best solution to making the process more efficient in Tailwag is to bypass the abbreviated dialogue box. There are two options.

    1. Get rid of the abbreviated dialogue box Altogether. When the user clicks add activity, Tailwag goes directly…

    similarly to how we can invite people to calendar events in Outlook or Zimbra

  12. Automations: Make the Know your Client Review Date a Trigger Event

    The Last/Next Review Date fields in the Know Your Client section is something our practice uses to help schedule the next review date for each client, rather than creating an activity for it, to help minimize the data footprint of each contact record (because there is enough "clutter" on record). If there were a way to make either of these fields, or both, a trigger event for an automation template(i.e. linking a Review Meeting workflow)...I believe it would enhance the Redtail experience.

  13. Unique Email Dropbox to auto attach to Contact

    **This does NOT need to be hosted email with RT** It can be ANY email provider. The only key here is the unique dropbox email address.

    This would be an email unique to each user on a database. By simply forwarding an email to this address or by bcc when sending a new email to a contact, the email will be attached to the contact's notes corresponding to the original email (if forwarded) or to the email being sent to (if sending a new email).   14. Option to Link Any/All Data to Spouse's Record

    It would be helpful to have the option to link both spouses with all their info (SSN, Bday, email, ect) all under the Family Head. It is inconvenient to have to to enter the clients as two seperate intities when they share the same income and assets, etc. The family Head needs to have one quick way to enter all the spouses info. Also known as a "House Hold".

  15. Age Based Triggers

    I would really love to see the option for triggers based on age/birthdates. As advisors, many important financial events have age based triggers: RMDs, full retirement age, age 59 1/2, etc. To have a workflow or checklist automatically assigned when a client reaches specific milestones would be hugely helpful.

  16. Cancel and No show Appointments

    When a client cancels and no show appointment or does not show up it would be nice to have the availability ability to "cancel" & "No show" appointment not just deleting the appointment.

    We need to be able to track the people who cancel and do not show up for appointment.

  17. Customizable Font

    Users would like the ability to edit the CRM font size and color. Users also would like to have smaller activity windows so they can complete or select edit details without having to scroll down.

  18. Allow Tasks to be moved between workflow Steps

    I understand that the order of Tasks *within* a single Step is not terribly important (all of a Step's Tasks are assigned at the same time, when the prior step is completed). I, like many other users, would like to be able to re-order them anyway, even if it is merely cosmetic.

    But the real issue of concern is the lack of ability to move a Task *between* workflow Steps. So, if you realize that Task F actually needs to be under Step 3, rather than Step 4, you have to manually re-create it under Step 3, then delete it…

  19. I need additional Mail Merge Fields

    We want to create a custom mail merge template to use in place of the Confidential Personal Profile Form. There are multipe fields that I want to merge into this custom form that are not available in the current mail merge fields and therefore I will have a lot of info to add after the merge is complete.

  20. Automation templates & recurring workflows

    Please add the ability to automate templates based on time periods/dates. Right now, templates can automatically be applied based on certain actions (i.e. adding new clients). It would be a tremendous help to have the ability to set templates to automatically run every quarter (or other time frame). For example, I run a client invoicing template every quarter and the process can be automated by applying this template automatically each quarter.
