Use the USPS API to verify mailing addresses
The USPS has a great API to verify addresses and format them to the USPS standard. It will even give the Zip+4 for the address. How about a button to check the address?
Info on the API can be found here: https://www.usps.com/business/web-tools-apis/address-information-api.htm
Redtail’s Product Owner has read the suggestion and there is some internal discussion needed in order to determine next steps.
This suggestion is remaining open and can continue to gather votes and comments!

Since Redtail data = Paperwork data, this would provide nice lift to our firms that use Redtail.

This would be a great feature for "one time" use, as when entering a new contact. But, what about all the existing addresses in my database? When (not if!) you implement this, it would also be helpful to make some mass address changes. It would be too much to push a button and send every address to the USPS API, but sending smaller groups of contacts would be preferred and more prudent. Best: bulk send 100 addresses and have a "before" and "after" view to visually verify the new address looks correct before saving.

This seems like a simple way to make sure we have the correct info.
