  1. email notification click and takes you to redtail

    When Email received regarding activities, in the email we should be able to click a link to take us to the contact that the activity is pertaining to.

  2. add multiple categories

    Please add the ability to link Opportunities to an Activity, link multiple already existing Notes to an Activity, add UDFs to an Activity and/or multiple Categories to an Activity. It would also be helpful to add a Referral box and Membership box to an Activity.

    For example, we just had a new referral from a CPA firm next door to us come in and make an appointment with one of our advisors (who is not in right now). It would be helpful for the advisor to be able to see on the activity in the calendar (without having to click…

  3. Timetracking

    Currently we track our time by Activity (as well as emails) and bill Advisors for Administrative time. It would be great to have a time section associated with each activity (be able to manually add 5 minutes to multiple hours). Servicing agent added to Emails by Contact Report for a full comprehensive report for Admin Time in a certain timeframe would be great too.

  4. Warning if saving activity that was updated and saved since opened

    If I have an activity open in 2 windows or if 2 people in our office have an activity open and one enters text and saves it and then the 2nd person saves it with different information, the information entered by the first person is lost. We need a pop up warning that says you are attempting to save and are not updating the most recent activity record, so we can prevent the loss of information.

  6. Templates for Follow Up Activited

    Would it be possible to add all of the activity templates when creating a follow-up activity attached to a note? There is only the option for a follow up.

    Is there a way for the invitees in an activity to get an email reminder when the activity is due and not just when it is created??

  11. Tasks: Alert next user

    We have non-recurrent complex tasks that involve multiple staff. It is very inefficient to develop a workflow for a single task. We need the capability to alert the next user in the task that they may now take action, ideally on the email alert that the task has changed. On possibility is to allow modification of the priority # list (now 1-6) for a 3-4 digit designator or permit a user defined field to be added to tasks that could be used on the email change alert.

    re Linked Accounts, it is critical and time saving to be able to identify the type of account when there are multiples accounts and especially when integrating from LPL and Custodians, ie Schwab. It is difficult to identify the account w/just a number and too time consuming logging in to the client's account find which account is which. Thank you, Barb

  13. creating activities

    When creating an activity for team members, once the 'save & edit' button is clicked, the attendee gets the email of the activity that was created for them even though the activity is still being edited.
    the activity email shouldn't be sent to the attendee until it has been saved after all edits are made. Unless there was a way to create notes/details on the initial creation of the activity.

  14. Add a time stamp to activities

    Add a time stamp at the end of every documentation or update on activities. When I previously worked with Junxure, they had a CTRL + J feature that would time stamp with initials of who wrote it.

  15. reoccurring

    Currently when someone is attached to a reoccurring appointment, if they remove themselves from one instance it removes them from all of the instances in that series. Is there a way to prevent this? It seems that there should be an option to do either a single instance or the whole series but at this point it does not even give the warning that they are being removed from all instances.

  16. Subject column is too narrow, contact column too wide

    The "Subject" column on the Today page and lists of past due/upcoming activities is too narrow causing the text to wrap creating wider rows. This reduces the number of tasks you can view at one time on your screen.

    The "Contacts" column could certainly be narrower to accommodate the expansion of the "Subject" column.

  17. Be able to link Workflow to Activity Templates so you can attach pending documents and tasks for group

    Link Workflow to Activity Templates so that you can see the task for the group, along with notifications and attaching supporting documents in workflow.

  18. Activity Filter Dates Next 12 Months / Past Due 12 Months

    Recent updates have caused the Next 12 months filter option (contact record as well as applicable areas within the CRM) to be removed from this dropdown. Would love to have this option back in with an addition of Past due 12 months.

    This feature is in development! Redtail Developers are currently working on this feature and it can be expected in an upcoming release. There is no exact timeline due to the feature having to pass internal QA before rolling out. This suggestion is remaining open and can continue to gather votes and comments!

  19. Activities at Risk for Undetected Deletion

    Currently, there is no way for me to create an activity (as an interoffice task), assign an attendee to work on said task, and not worry that it won't be deleted by said attendee at free will. This is permission that I think needs to be an option to toggle in user settings OR have as a feature towards the bottom when creating activities. The security or such a feature could be very attractive to existing and new users of Redtail.

    Activities filter drop down - Please add "12 months" as an option. It used to be an option but now "6 months" is the longest time frame unless you want to use "custom" We use "12 months" all the time.
