  1. Opportunity Tracker- Email addition

    If we have someone who is a prospect/opportunity, and for security don't want to put all of their information into a redtail profile- but want to capture their email addresses for drip- can a place be added in the opportunity tracker to add an email address? We understand that you can link the opportunity to a contact- but if they aren't a contact yet we would like to just be able to email.

  2. contact business - attach email history from Departments section

    I don't know if the system already does this, but we've been adding business emails in both the "Departments" section (which we LOVE) and the "Contact Card" section to be certain the email history is captured. It would be nice if the "Departments" section also captured the history of any email there, so it didn't have to be double-entered.

  3. Daily Email Reminders for Tasks and Workflows

    My advisor struggles to look at her tasks due. She continues to express that it would be significantly easier to stay on top of and complete tasks if she were to receive a daily email of what she has outstanding and the days appointments since she checks her email multiple times a day rather than having to check her homepage or the calendar in the system.

  4. Share emails within a team

    It would be nice if all members on a specific team had access to all emails inside a contact from any team member, not just their own emails. Only being able to see your own emails makes it harder for teams to work together and to see all communications to and from a contact.

  5. Seamless archiving/linking of outlook emails to contacts/activities/workflow

    Instead creating a new domain host to cc the emails to redtail, it should be more seamless like add-in function in outlook to link emails to a contact/activity/workflow.

    It should not be hard as your competitors offer and are able to do it, i.e. salesforce, goldmine, junxure, practifi, list goes on.

  7. Add feature to search archived emails by "to" field or "from" field

    Currently email archiving only allows for searching off of contact or subject field. We really need to be able to also search off of "to" or "from" field.

  8. email from customer support

    When customer support sends a follow-up email to a phone conversation with them there is not information in the email which describes the subject of the conversation so the follow-up email really does no good so it just gets deleted. Then we are asked to rate the person we talked to but there is no trigger of what the conversation related to so again the email just gets deleted on our end

  9. Need to have a Service Mark option

    When adding an email template and I click on the Insert special Feature tab there is not option for the service mark (SM) that should be in there. There is one for TradeMark (TM) or even Registered Trademark (r)

  10. task update or completion email to be received by the person doing the updating or completing

    When we complete or update a task all of our colleagues that are added as "Attendees" receive an email in Outlook. We would like the person who completes or updates the task to receive the same email (currently not an available feature.)

    The user would like a way to only let users view certain emails
    possibly an option for only displaying emails that exist on a contact record

    Change is hard for many of us longer term advisors. The world changed for the better when WYSIWYG -- this was like moving from DOS to Window. Yet, I'm now a RT user and what I see is hard to print. It's not often, but bringing an important email (and most anything in RT) is a process. Save the file, open the file and print. A print from the browser (mine anyway) gives a jumbled mess. Request to a print function to be able to quickly print what's on the screen. Specifically in this case, an email.

  14. signature formatting

    In the CRM besides the heading presets for changing font size add actual fonts and font sizes under preferences for broadcast emails. Or at least allow user to maintain formatting from copying and pasting from word.

  15. Create functionality so that an email received by another contact in the database could be linked to a different contact.

    Create a way to link an email from one contact in the database to another. I.e. I have an insurance specialist who sends quotes and emails about my clients. I want to be able to link HIS email to THEIR record for easy reference.

  16. the ability to manually link emails to unrelated records in archive email history in database.

    save an email to a clients contacts that the clients email is not part of. basically if a client is not in the email correspondence at all can we save the that set of emails to the clients contact record. no email headers match up with contact records based on a matching email address.

  17. Advanced Search - Allow search by 'preferred email'

    When I go to advanced search and click on "address" it gives me an option to search by "preferred" - but when I click on "email" - I don't have the same option to search by "preferred" - can't you add option to search preferred email in advance search? Thanks for the consideration.

  18. ability to delete emails

    We would like the ability to delete emails from the client record. There are non-business emails as well as confidential emails to management that should not be available for others to view. We have an employee who is also a client and all their emails are visible in redtail and should not.

  19. Email categories

    It would be great to have the ability to customize email categories separately from activities and notes. There are lots of email categories that I would not want added to the list I choose from when categorizing an activity.

  20. Add exportable email reports for a list of clients and their emails. ALSO add customizable options on all client screen.

    I want to be able to access email info easily. I want to be able to print a report of clients and their emails and phone numbers to export to excel and share. I don't want to have to click on or open each contact to see email info. Make A-Z contract screen customizable with Contact Card Options. (ie: source doesn't matter to me)
