  1. Create a button on Activities where you can send an email with a link to the Activity

    When looking through meetings and tasks, I often want to ask a co-worker a question to clarify something. This would be easier to accomplish if I could have an easy link to the activity. I think there should be a button on the page saying "Email" where if you click it your email will pop up and you can send an email to a fellow Redtail user with the title/description of the Activity in the body of the email.

  2. Option to only display emails on contact record in email reports

    The user would like a way to only let users view certain emails
    possibly an option for only displaying emails that exist on a contact record

    Change is hard for many of us longer term advisors. The world changed for the better when WYSIWYG -- this was like moving from DOS to Window. Yet, I'm now a RT user and what I see is hard to print. It's not often, but bringing an important email (and most anything in RT) is a process. Save the file, open the file and print. A print from the browser (mine anyway) gives a jumbled mess. Request to a print function to be able to quickly print what's on the screen. Specifically in this case, an email.

  5. signature formatting

    In the CRM besides the heading presets for changing font size add actual fonts and font sizes under preferences for broadcast emails. Or at least allow user to maintain formatting from copying and pasting from word.

  6. Create functionality so that an email received by another contact in the database could be linked to a different contact.

    Create a way to link an email from one contact in the database to another. I.e. I have an insurance specialist who sends quotes and emails about my clients. I want to be able to link HIS email to THEIR record for easy reference.

  7. the ability to manually link emails to unrelated records in archive email history in database.

    save an email to a clients contacts that the clients email is not part of. basically if a client is not in the email correspondence at all can we save the that set of emails to the clients contact record. no email headers match up with contact records based on a matching email address.

  8. Advanced Search - Allow search by 'preferred email'

    When I go to advanced search and click on "address" it gives me an option to search by "preferred" - but when I click on "email" - I don't have the same option to search by "preferred" - can't you add option to search preferred email in advance search? Thanks for the consideration.

  9. ability to delete emails

    We would like the ability to delete emails from the client record. There are non-business emails as well as confidential emails to management that should not be available for others to view. We have an employee who is also a client and all their emails are visible in redtail and should not.

  10. Email categories

    It would be great to have the ability to customize email categories separately from activities and notes. There are lots of email categories that I would not want added to the list I choose from when categorizing an activity.

  11. Add exportable email reports for a list of clients and their emails. ALSO add customizable options on all client screen.

    I want to be able to access email info easily. I want to be able to print a report of clients and their emails and phone numbers to export to excel and share. I don't want to have to click on or open each contact to see email info. Make A-Z contract screen customizable with Contact Card Options. (ie: source doesn't matter to me)

  13. Sync Department Email History

    Sync department emails to email history. This will provide better organization and cleaner data so vendor "contact card" does not get filled with individual department emails and correspondence within individual department contacts sync with email history within the vendor contact record.

  14. Filter which email notification you reciieve

    it would be nice if there was a way in your preferences to pick which types of Completed Activity you receive an email for. Currently you can only get them if an activity is added, edited or completed. It would be nice if you could pick which activity type you are receiving an email for.

    i.e. when a client cancel's an appointment. The advisor would get an email about a completed appointment that has an activity type of Canceled. our advisors have to turn off their notifications because they get to many emails when we complete the day to day…

  15. Posting Emails to client records It would be great if I could post my emails from insurance companies about the underwriting process to a cl

    Posting Emails to client records - I've seen multiple threads asking for the same thing, but with different descriptions. There should be a way to manually post an email to a client record. We get emails from insurance companies about the underwriting process for a specific client. This goes to the insurance company vendor record but not the client because they are not and should not be included on the thread. Please create an option to post emails to client records even if it doesn't contain the clients email address in it. In addition there should be a search function…

  16. Email Viewing Tied to Permissions

    Increase Email viewing; there should really be 3 levels of email viewing not just 2.

    1. Non-Admins – can only see the emails they are included on (make default)
    a. Not a true value add in my opinion because you can just do a quick search in our your outlook.

    2. New Advisor Level – an Advisor can only see emails sent to their clients by any RedTail user
    a. Client level viewing permissions restrict their access to certain clients anyway.
    b. Basically this user does not have access to the top Email Tab. I believe this is the only…

  17. Ability to link an email to a client record if the client email address is not contained within the chain.

    Ability to link an email to a client record even if the client email address is not contained within the chain. Would save on copying the contents of the email and pasting it into the account notes. Functionality way overdue.

  18. Email that provides link to see note should take you to a page that offers a redirect to the app

    When you are copied on a note and receive an email with a link that says, "Please login to see note," tapping on this link from mobile should either redirect you to the app or take you to the browser that provides an option at the top to view the note within the app.

  19. Customize Email Viewing Permissions

    We need to be able to see all emails to a contact within the firm, but we do not want ALL emails to be seen by ALL users when clicking under the email (personnel, payroll, etc does not need to be seen globally). This is not currently possible. Major negative to using Redtail email all the way around.

  20. adding images to emails

    There should be a way to insert an image into an email without having to save it as a URL first
