  1. Ability to recall an email if not opened

    This is standard in most systems and the ability to not do so can be a deal breaker.

  2. Have a ##Greeting## email merge field to address a couple or individual appropriately

    We suggest adding a place in the clients' basic info for a greeting and a corresponding ##Greeting## email merge field to allow both spouses' names or the individuals' name as you wish it to appear in emails.
    We would like to send an email with a like "Hi John and Jane" or if the person is single "Hi John"
    With current options you can only put in ##Firstname## and ##SpouseFirstname## or ##Familyname##. The problem with these options is that you will get greetings to a single person as "Hi John and" or use the family name "John and Jane Doe"…

  3. be able to move emails to specific contacts

    Be able to move emails to specific contacts -- for example -- i email the trading desk saying buy or sell -- they email me back saying trades completed -- I should be able to move those emails to the client record

  4. Add additional fonts in broadcast emails

    We would like to have a larger selection of fonts available for broadcast emails. A "signature" style font would be very helpful

  5. Attaching an email to a client record (without the client email address included)

    The ability to attach an email to a client record (for which the client is not part of the thread) would be extremely helpful, instead of copying and pasting into notes.

  6. archive email

    When we archive an client's email because they don't want to receive bulk email from us maybe the archive email word can change from blue to red to signal an email is archived.

  7. Confidential Emails

    Please provide a filter option to remove or hide emails to or from any domain at this time. For example, if a user is sending a confidential email - the correspondence will be hidden from everyone else but the sender.

  8. Link Emails to various contacts

    I need the ability to link an outgoing email to multiple contacts and/or opportunities and accounts. I am often emailing an insurance company regarding a client's policy (account). The email doesn't connect to the client because the email is not being sent to them, but it may involve that contact, account or opportunity and need to be recorded in those places.

  9. Schedule or Send Email Later Option

    When we are working with email templates I would like see to the option to schedule when the email is sent. You can only send it immediately. A send later option would be good if we are working on an evening, weekend or would prefer if a client receives the email at a certain time.

  10. Remove redundant email

    Email's cc'd to others in the office are all included in email history. There is no need for several of the same emails.

  11. contact business - attach email history from Departments section

    I don't know if the system already does this, but we've been adding business emails in both the "Departments" section (which we LOVE) and the "Contact Card" section to be certain the email history is captured. It would be nice if the "Departments" section also captured the history of any email there, so it didn't have to be double-entered.

  12. Share emails within a team

    It would be nice if all members on a specific team had access to all emails inside a contact from any team member, not just their own emails. Only being able to see your own emails makes it harder for teams to work together and to see all communications to and from a contact.

  13. Seamless archiving/linking of outlook emails to contacts/activities/workflow

    Instead creating a new domain host to cc the emails to redtail, it should be more seamless like add-in function in outlook to link emails to a contact/activity/workflow.

    It should not be hard as your competitors offer and are able to do it, i.e. salesforce, goldmine, junxure, practifi, list goes on.

  14. Add feature to search archived emails by "to" field or "from" field

    Currently email archiving only allows for searching off of contact or subject field. We really need to be able to also search off of "to" or "from" field.

  15. Need to have a Service Mark option

    When adding an email template and I click on the Insert special Feature tab there is not option for the service mark (SM) that should be in there. There is one for TradeMark (TM) or even Registered Trademark (r)

  16. task update or completion email to be received by the person doing the updating or completing

    When we complete or update a task all of our colleagues that are added as "Attendees" receive an email in Outlook. We would like the person who completes or updates the task to receive the same email (currently not an available feature.)

    The user would like a way to only let users view certain emails
    possibly an option for only displaying emails that exist on a contact record

    Change is hard for many of us longer term advisors. The world changed for the better when WYSIWYG -- this was like moving from DOS to Window. Yet, I'm now a RT user and what I see is hard to print. It's not often, but bringing an important email (and most anything in RT) is a process. Save the file, open the file and print. A print from the browser (mine anyway) gives a jumbled mess. Request to a print function to be able to quickly print what's on the screen. Specifically in this case, an email.

  19. signature formatting

    In the CRM besides the heading presets for changing font size add actual fonts and font sizes under preferences for broadcast emails. Or at least allow user to maintain formatting from copying and pasting from word.

  20. Create functionality so that an email received by another contact in the database could be linked to a different contact.

    Create a way to link an email from one contact in the database to another. I.e. I have an insurance specialist who sends quotes and emails about my clients. I want to be able to link HIS email to THEIR record for easy reference.
