  1. I would love to have a ticket based system, for tracking a client's problems just like RT has for tracking us as it's customers

    I would love for the CRM to generate a "ticket" for tracking problems just like Redtail has one for us/it's customers.

    Could you add beneficiary information to the Know Your Client area? They may not necessarily be a contact.

  3. Make these date points exportable - Income tax rate, net worth, liquid net worth income.

    At this time, client tax rates are not an exportable data piece. Not sure that net worth and income are, however, It would be so helpful to be able to export these fields as it is required by many state auditors to have a list of clients with the above info.

  4. Multiple Review Dates

    Since we sell annuity products, it is necessary for us to have yearly reviews with clients for EACH of their annuities. This means that we need to have more than one review with them each year, but they are not in intervals. We need to be able to add more than one review. (Example: A client has an annuity with an anniversary in February, another in March, and another in November.)

  6. Strategic allocation model investment experience years should be ranges to choose from

    You should be able to pick ranges, 0-5 years, 6-10 years, and 11+ years. With having to input a specific number that means every year you have to go back in and add a year to all of those numbers for each client.

  7. Review Date Import

    Please add the functionality to import every detail (not just First Review Date as it is currently) of Client Review Dates from a spreadsheet with columns for:

    First Review Date
    Repeats Dropdown Options (never, daily, etc.)
    Repeats every X years
    Repeats yearly on (checkbox yes/no)
    on 1st/2nd/3rd/4th/last
    {Day of Week}
    Each {Month}
    Repeat Ends Dropdown Options

    This import would be much, much more convenient than adding these details one by one manually to each contact.

  8. Make a space in the primary contact record for dependants and or professionals without making them be a seperate contact

    I hate to clutter up my database by having every dependent be their own contact. Same with professionals. There should be a way to add them to the contact record.

  9. Queryable Know Your Client / Misc. Client Info

    It would be great to have a queryable Know Your Client section or Misc. Client Info. We have surveys that gather our client interests and have been told repeatedly the only place to track this information is in UDF's. That bogs down our UDF's immensely. We need this feature, for example, to pull all clients who like wine to invite to a wine tasting event. It would also help if it were printable in a report, per client or household, to add get a one page run down before client meetings, making the client experience more personal.

  10. important information

    We use "Important Information" for a wide variety of information; more so for our plan sponsors / business client contacts. It would make more sense to have each piece of information logged separately in its own "box" (like it is in Notes.) We have several pieces of important information that do not relate to each other, entered into one box; having to "Edit" each time we add an additional piece of information.

  11. defined contribution plan

    Having a page that shows information specific for defined contribution retirement plans, related to the company itself. We have are currently tracking everything in Excel as it gives us more flexibility, but would like to have everything in Redtail.

  12. tax bracket

    The CFP Board and many states require Financial planners to collect Net worth, tax bracket and income for all clients before advising them. When I am audited by the state, I am required to provide them with a list of all my clients and these items. Redtail has the Estimated tax bracket field, but it doesn't allow us to run a report on this field. It would be helpful to be able to pull this info since its easy to remember to put in there.   14. Add Client Review Automation trigger event

    It would be very helpful if an activity was automatically created for client reviews so that we can track, follow up, make notes, postpone ect... Currently, we have to manually input the review after checking the know your client section.

  15. Under Professional where you can put in CPA, Attorneys, etc. it creates it as a contact & it would be nice to create as a business

    It would be helpful when we click on professional to put our clients CPA, Attorney etc to create that as a business instead of contact every time & then we could just add who the CPA, attorney etc is who works for that company. Now it automatically creates as a contact & we can't put the individual CPA, attorneys etc who works for the company

  16. There should be three editable options under client review:

    Last Review - enter date of most recent review.
    Next Review Due - enter date to begin contact for setting next review.
    Next Review Set - enter date when review is set.

    Otherwise the client review area is useless.

  17. important information

    The Important Information button now opens by default in an Edit field. It used to be that pressing the button opened all of the text View Only, with an Edit button. This change to the Important Information button should be reverted to its previous functionality.

    Please add a field in the Tax Section to indicate if the client prefers getting a refund or not. It can be a simple checkbox or Yes/No dropdown.

  20. Know Your Client

    I would like to be able to view which clients have a professional under Know Your Client - example: when viewing a contact that is a CPA, it would be helpful to be able to see which clients have that CPA under their Know Your Client; similar to viewing Memberships, without having to enter the Professional under the client's Know Your Client and Membership which is duplicate work. This would be very helpful during tax season
