Workflow added to notes as a follow activity
Would it be possible to add workflow to the actions drop down list once a note is added, where we select workflow as follow up activity to the note.

Sort/Filter Workflows by target date and owner
Please update the Workflow list system so we can organize by both Target Date and Owner. Currently, you can only sort by Target Date OR Owner, so our personal workflows are out of order and easily missed on the Target Date. Please add this sorting ability so that we can organize by Target Date and then again by Name (or vice versa). We had this feature before the October 2019 update.

Automatically refresh the workflow to remove after completion
Currently, after you complete it, it still stays on the screen unless you manually hit refresh on your browser.

Email notifications when workflows are completed
We would like the workflow owner to only get a notification when an entire workflow is completed, and not when individual steps or tasks are completed.

Adding Permissions to Workflows
Is there a way to add permissions to workflows so that only certain users or teams have access and are able to see and edit them?

Workflow activities need same format as regular activties
Each activity in a workflow should have same format as regular activities, Including the note sections.

Integrate workflow task into Things to do list
Task from workflows need to be integrated with regular activities on the To-Do list. They do not need to be separated. Also they need to come up every day on the to-do list until completed.

Workflow Template - Assign Task Due Date
I would like the ability to set a due date for tasks in a template of a workflow. Currently, I have to go into each individual work flow to assign dates for tasks; however, that is a bit cumbersome. I would like the ability to structure my tasks in templates to have a general timeline, and be able to edit at the individual basis if something were to change from the template.

Workflow Task & Step Alerts to the CRM (in addition to an email)
I know Redtail already has a system that notifies you via email when a step/task has been assigned to a user, but I would find it helpful for the CRM to "alert" you (a notification to the bell in the upper right corner). I would find this helpful because no matter what screen of the CRM you are on, the alert button is always there and then you would be able to get the notification when you were already in the CRM.

Ability to un-complete steps in workflows (not just tasks)
I would like the ability to un-complete a step in a workflow (not a task) and go back to a previously active step.
I was just told via email from RedTail Technology that this is not currently available.

Updating Workflows and staying in the same page once refreshing
When I update a workflow in the template section, when completed it takes me back to the beginning page 1 even if I am in page 20. It would nice to refresh the same page instead of me looking for it again.
I have almost 600 workflows, pls pls add this function, that function used to be there before you did the updated.6 votes -
Workflow Management
I would like to see only the workflows that I'm apart of and the ones that I create, no need to see what others are working on if I'm not involved. It's confusing as a new employee to be able to view these items as they don't concern me. If possible to restrict the view or have an option to hide.

Allow Roles to only point to specific users
I was thinking it should function like the Servicing or Writing Advisors fields where the database admin has the ability to manage the list of folks showing in each of those areas. The only options I see in the Manage Database List section in contacts are Servicing and Writing Advisor. If may be more efficient for folks not to have to scroll through our entire user population to select the CSA if there are only 15 folks that hold that position.

Workflow tasks that are not completed
Workflow tasks that are not completed on the assigned day should float to the next day so as to not be forgotten and the person is reminded to do them until they are completed. This would be helpful as not all assigned tasks will be done on the exact day as you could be waiting on a client to send back documents or someone was out sick and couldn't get it done.

required target date field
I would like the target date field when creating a workflow to be required. Right now, you can lock it out to be a certain # of days before/after the workflow creation date, but for things like client meetings (which change or come up last minute) - this needs to be a required, hard - coded date. Our steps and tasks all have due dates that stem from the target date, but if an advisor leaves the initial target date field blank when creating the workflow, this doesn't all flow properly

Workflows - UNDO - this is NOT answered yet.
There is the option on Tasks to "complete" or "un-complete". This needs to be available for Steps as well as Tasks.
The answer given previously was "make it an outcome", which doesn't suit the need, and is extremely labor intensive. We just want to be able to fix a mistake - you clicked it was done, but it isn't - open it back up.24 votesMore information is needed internally before a decision can be made. Workflow in main Notes Realtime NOT once Workflow is done
It would be extremely helpful to have the Workflow notes appear in the main contact notes, on real time, once each task is complete. Therefore all notes for the client are consolidated in one place not separate areas. Currently, as is is NOT efficient! Even with the workflow summary notes you only have them once the workflow is done not while its going
