  1. Notification from the workflow to our customers via e-mail

    We would like that the workflow could send e-mails to our customers, when one of the steps is completed, in that way they would have more information and a better service

  2. Include activity category in email notification of assigned activity

    I would like to be able to see the activity 'category' in the email notification of an assigned activity. We are using that to identify the type of account being requested for processing and would like to see it within the email rather than having to click into the activity to see what type of request it is. For example, we may select "New Account Processing" as the activity type, and then select "Brokerage Account" from the category menu, but we will only see "New Account Processing" in the email; not "Brokerage Account".

    Please add a link at the bottom of the notification that would open the activity in a new browser window

  4. Daily Update E-mail

    It would be helpful to see all of the changes made for clients the advisor is assigned to throughout the day in a summary format rather than just getting multiple automatic e-mails when an address or other piece of information is changed.

  6. Workflow Notifcation Email

    -Customize the email subject of a workflow task being assigned. Include link to workflow in that email also.

  7. Contacts > Notes > Comments Notification

    Comments on a Note currently do not prompt RedTail to send an Email Notification to the Note Owner. As a result, we just realized that we had been commenting on notes... but the note owners didn't know! Please add a function so that Comments on Notes prompt an Email Notification to whomever created or commented on the note.

  8. Option to NOT notify existing activities attendees

    We get so many activity update email notifications that it would be nice to have the option of NOT notifying attendees for minor updates to an activity. Just like Google calendar offers the option to send updates to existing guests or not. It will minimize emails and notifications to only those that are deemed necessary.

  9. Notification for workflow task deleted

    It would be helpful to receive notification if a workflow task that you've been assigned to has been deleted. Apparently "deleted" is not considered "updated" and there is no notification of the task being deleted.

  10. activity notification on start date

    How can we receive email notification on the start date of an activity? (i.e. the day that an activity has been scheduled to happen)
    We currently receive email notifications when an activity is assigned and when it has been completed but never on the day that it is supposed to happen. How can we set that up?

  11. Reminders/notifications for workflow steps and tasks when assigned dates come up.

    Would be a nice feature if notifications for steps and tasks due dates come up.

    If I am missing something here would love to know. Rather than having to check each day on my workflows. Would prefer to notified when I need to do something. Either in Tasks or on my Calendar.

  12. Why can't you provide a component of team notification that shows when you've notified a team member?

    Why can't you provide a component of team notification that shows when you've notified a team member? Otherwise, how can the user know that he or she has successfully accomplished that task? The drop down should have a component where the person(s) notified are highlighted.

    In email notification of activities - include the actual subject of the activity in the subject line of the email.

  14. Workflow Notifications- Choose when to send a notification

    We have many individuals on a team in our office. It would be beneficial if sending workflow update e-mails were optional; just as they are with notes. It would be helpful to be able to select who the notifications should be sent to.

  15. Add Contact Name to Notification Subject Line

    For new activities: Add name of contact in email subject other than "Redtail CRM: An activity has been updated." This will allow us when viewing the many notifications for daily RT activities to pick and choose which ones to look at or address immediately. If an activity is updated 2 or 3 times, there are 2 or 3 notifications. This is okay but it makes it redundant and not timely to look at most critical activities first. Especially in a busy environment where activities are getting updated and added quite a bit throughout the day.

  16. E-mail Notification Improvement – Please Tell Us What Was Actually Changed!

    These NOTIFICATIONS were ADDED TO INFORM / ALERT US THAT SOMETHING WAS CHANGED….BUT They DON’T ACTUALLY TELL us WHAT was CHANGED! …This seems a little silly, odd, and pointless unless the idea is executed in its entirety, don’t you think?

    While I am thankful that I receive notifications for things like when activities are changed, the current notifications that we receive are NOT SPECIFIC ENOUGH – they ONLY STATE “Activity was changed”, and DO NOT TELL YOU ANY IMPORTANT INFORMATION, such as:
     WHO changed the activity?
     WHICH PART of the activity was changed?
     What was the activity…

  17. Develop a way to allow a user to select to have forced TLS on notifications from Redtail CRM

    If as a user one could select a preference to send notification emails using forced TLS secure information could be entered into an activities details to be sent in the notification email.

  18. Add Note Category to Note Notifications

    Add A Category to Notifications - Currently when an email notification is received as a result of notes being entered to a contacts record, there is no snippet of the note, nor is there a category listed. This makes prioritization of the email/note a laborious action. With no Category a user cannot tell from the email notification if this note requires them to immediately take action or if this is a low priority FYI. This is a very important feature to save time and avoid items slipping through the cracks.

  19. Reminders in Activities and Workflows

    There should be the ability to set start times and end times so that if I have a task due on a date, I could set a reminder from within Workflows and tasks that have notifications set on the calendar.
