  4. add contact name to automation email alert

    When there's an automation to email me when a certain kind of activity is added, the email doesn't include the contact name. that's really not helpful. i then have to go searching for what contact it might have been in order to review the activity. the email generated by the automation either needs to have the contact name in it, or at least have a link in the email to say "go to this activity in Redtail".

  5. 1-800 number for tec support on login page

    It would be great if the 1-800 number to reach RedTail was on the Login page so you can call straight away if you fat finger your password three times in a row and get locked out.

    This was posted previously and completed, but the screen seems to have changed since completion and no longer has a Contact Us Option from the TailWag login screen. Would you please revisit this request. Thank you!

  6. new ideas for Automation Tool

    Need to create an Added By condition in automation. I like the automation tool but I would like to create a rule where it allow any users that creates a new contact to automatically create a permission rule.

    I need an automation that attaches my "new client workflow" to a client after their status changes from "prospect" to "client".
    Therefore, I suggest adding a trigger event "Client Category Changed"

  8. Add 'Activity Changed' as trigger event for automation templates

    Allow for new automation templates to be created and applied to already booked appointments by having the trigger be 'Activity Changed," rather than being restricted to 'Activity Added."

  9. Default Permissions by User

    It would be extremely useful to be able to set a default Permissions setting, by user, for all contacts, notes, activities, etc. What that default setting is can vary by user but could be assigned by either the user themselves, or the database owner. This would be a much better option (but not a requirement for those who don't want it) for keeping the clients and private information of different advisors and/or teams separate from each other while still allowing leadership access to a single database with all info.

  10. Schwab has a new Digital account open tool, please develop integration with this tool (Orion, Black Diamond and Tamarac are already on)..

    It seems like a waste of time to use Lazer App when Schwab could interface directly with Red Tail for account opening.

  11. Automation Triigger for Closed Accounts

    When an existing account is closed, we have certain things that we need to do--particularly if a client is closing all accounts with us. It would be convenient if we had more automation options, including one that would trigger when an account was closed so that we could update our records and our file systems.

  12. Please work on the Automation.

    Either allow it to be customized or add many more triggering events.
    -Change in writing or servicing advisor to trigger a notification to that advisor.
    -Workflow completed should be able to trigger another workflow or notification.
    -A specific workflow outcome to trigger a new workflow
    and so many others.....why not just open the automation to all the categories offered or created?

  13. An Automation for adding contacts to a tag group (syncing with retriever cloud)

    With Retriever cloud,
    We must sync contacts via a tag group.
    With R4TW we're able to sync contacts with a quicklist,
    quicklist are more beneficial since they update automatically.
    If there was a way to choose quicklist with retriever cloud, even better.
    If there was a way to set an automation to add contacts to a tag group, also even better.

  14. Add more Automation Triggers

    It would be nice to have the following workflow triggering event.
    1. Account Status Change - If an account is marked closed it would be great to trigger a workflow.
    2. Marital Status change - This would be nice to trigger a workflow any time a client gets married, gets divorced, etc.

  15. Automation within a workflow based on outcome

    It would be helpful to setup automations based on a separate workflow outcome. For instance, we have an automation setup that starts our new client workflow whenever the contact is changed from prospect to client. Within that new client workflow, there is a step asking if the client signed up for full financial planning. If yes, there should be a way to automatically trigger our financial planning workflow.

  16. Workflow Complete Triggers Additional Workflow

    Completion of one workflow should be able to be a trigger event to another workflow. This would allow an automated bridge to connect related workflows.

  17. integration with the trading platform to notify when cash is generated. I would like to use workflows to facilitate a raise cash request.

    I wish I could use an integration with the trading platform to notify or begin a workflow when cash is settled to send to the client - the most common regular request any office handles is the most painful when a step is missed. Can't RedTail help with using both an integration and a workflow?

  18. New User Automation

    It would be nice to have an automation available that upon adding a new user to the system a workflow can be run to remember to do various tasks or update specific lists, etc...

  19. If activity is deleted the automated workflow associated with that activity is also deleted

    If activity is deleted the automated workflow associate with that activity is also deleted. This would reduce confusion as to why a workflow is still active when the activity was cancelled/deleted. Example would be a client review meeting was scheduled and the client review workflow was launched - the client needs to cancel and doesn't know when they can reschedule so we delete the activity on the calendar but the workflow lives on without manual intervention.

  20. Automations IF conditions...

    Why are we unable to use any of the IF conditions across the different trigger events? EX for a trigger event of Activity Added, I can only use IF conditions that revolve around Activities. A trigger event of Contact Status change will only allow IF conditions revolving around Contact information.

    What I need is the ability to have a trigger of an Activity Added allow me to use IF conditions from Contact info, such as category, status etc.

    Summary: If the IF conditions are available in one instance they should be available in all instances it seems.
