  1. Client Favorites

    Please allow client favorites to be shared accross users. We are trying to find an easy way idintfy top clients. We could either use the favorites and make then sharable across users, or maybe allow cient names to be highlighted when you search them.

  2. Include account type when linking the account number to an activity

    Include account type when linking the account number to an activity. For example, we don't know if the account is an IRA, Roth, etc. Please add in Redtail.

  3. App/Connector for Microsoft Teams

    An app or connector for Microsoft Teams. We use Teams for our phone system. Would be nice it would automatically look up client and pull the record up in teams. Also just having access to contacts in Teams app would be very convenient.

  4. Quick Filter for Search Bar

    Have a toggle beside the Search Bar that you can filter for Active Clients only. More often than not, I am searching for an Active Client and my search list is cluttered with deceased clients, inactive clients, and/or prospects.

  6. Ability to filter 'Notes by User - All Time' report by date

    I would love the ability to filter the 'Notes by User - All Time' report by time period. That would be great!

  7. I like the new feature that when I search for a client that they show up as a menu underneath. But, I noticed that the search will not incl

    I like the new feature that when I search for a client that they show up as a menu underneath. But, I noticed that the search will not include nicknames. For example, when I search "Matt" it will not show up if there actual name is Mathew... Or searching '*' will not show up if there name is Richard even if the nickname is filled in as '*'.

  8. link activity template automatically with note template

    When using a Note template, we can select Create Follow-Up Activity so it will automatically initiate a new activity, but if we could predetermine the activity template that would be best.

    For instance selecting a note template for RegBI Conversation - it would be great to allow me to open the RegBI Tracking Activity we have set up in the tracker.

    Add CRS (Reg BI) Dates as options to customized reports so we can run a report similar to the required dates under "Know Your Client"

  10. Add additional contacts when creating tasks

    Can we link multiple contacts to an activity WHEN WE CREATE IT instead of only linking one and then have to create and edit to add the second contact?

  11. IMAGING

    When I create a new folder in imaging, please allow ability to merge to CRM contact at that time. Instead of having to create and then scroll down or search for and then have to merge to CRM contact.

  12. SEARCH RESULTS:

    SEARCH RESULTS: For some reason (just this week) when I go to search for a client and the results are 3 clients, only 2 clients show and I have to scroll down to see the third client. However, when I search and the results are say 11, the list continues as normal.

    Has there been a change? I would appreciate seeing all three results as opposed to having to scroll regardless of the number of results.

  13. notes

    When enterring a note there is a section that allows you to link an account. That is great, but it only lists the custodian and account number. It would be helpful if the title of the account was listed their. We generally do remember account numbers and go from account titles. We noticed that their is no place to put an account title on an imported account. We solved this by placing the account title in the "product" section of the note.

  14. Attach file in bulk notes

    I need to attach a file to multiple client records. I tried to do this through Bulk Actions/Note, but there is no option to add an attachment.
    This is necessary, we are entering notes in each client file when we review an investment. This often includes attachments

  15. Add item on Contact menu on Left side as "Due Diligence"

    With REG BI now in effect, we have to document all recommendations and keep our research papers and due diligence reports. It would be nice to make this process simpler by allowing a separate place like we have in the documents are in RedTail to download without having to co-mingle documents and due-diligence information in the same spot. As compliance officers will need easy access to our process, scrolling through docs and research is inefficient. Please consider as all my reps that have RedTail are looking for ideas.

    Please add the feature to archive the emails that are sent out through Marketing Central like they used to in C2C through FMG Suite before the changeover.

  17. View docs in the CRM and in Imaging.

    Please make a way to view documents without downloading them. My last CRM had the ability to simply review a document for looking over the necessary info. This seems like a hassle each time we download a doc, as it clutters our personal lap top or desk top, and further puts the client's data at risk.

  18. Account Fields for Contribution Amount, Percentage, and Frequency

    We would love for there to be specific fields in the accounts section for contribution amount (ability to put a dollar amount or percentage) and frequency. Right now we track flow business in Excel, but would strongly prefer to do it in the CRM. This would allow admins to input the information as part of their account setup/update workflows, instead of having advisors track the information on their own (which is not as reliable). We're toying with the idea of creating Account-level UDFs for these fields, but would prefer a Redtail field to make searches and reports easier.

  19. making emails private

    Would like be able to make an email 'private' so only the recipient gets to view its contents.
    I can't believe such a feature doesn't already exist in this software, especially considering security requirements we must follow.

  20. Calendar Feature / Settings / Option to View ONLY Select Activity Types or Categories of Other Users / Team Members

    Please Add Feature to Calendar Settings, Wherein we have the Option to View ONLY Select Activity Types or Categories of Other Users / Team Members...

    No one wants to Sort Through / have EVERY Calendar Activity of EVERYONE in the Office constantly Showing on their own Calendar.
    **HOWEVER, They DO WANT TO (always) SEE / Know When Other Team Members Will Be OUT OF THE OFFICE on VACATION or (especially these days with COVID) WORKING REMOTELY.

    And they do Not want to constantly be switching their calendar back and forth to View / Not View others' Activities on their Calendar…
