Any movement here yet? I don't understand the delay - this feature is worthless if you continue to include closed accounts in the graphics and information. This should show only open accounts! Here we are a full 2 years beyond Redtail noting the issue is being discussed.

I knew I shouldn't have checked the progress here - As of 7/14/21 it's now been 19 months since Redtail has noted the issue as received and in discussion yet I still show more than 37% of my accounts as "Other" and they are all closed accounts. Either fix the issue to exclude closed accounts (how hard can that be to add a filter?) or delete the screen as it continues to be useless!

Here we are some 10 months after a response and closed accounts still show in the account total on the AUM graph. WHY CAN'T YOU REMOVE CLOSED ACCOUNTS FROM THE TOTALS? This page is totally worthless as the information contained does not reflect actual holdings. We need some movement here!

Not sure what the lag here is - seems it would be simple to just filter out the closed accounts by default. I show "Other" representing 38.6% of my total accounts (305 "other" accounts) yet 100% of the accounts listed as "Other" are closed accounts. Why do we have something on the screen if it has absolutely no value whatsoever?

OK, so you've acknowledges this suggestion has been received but no urgency on fixing this issue. The account by type chart is absolutely useless as it currently stands as the chart is based on # of accounts and closed accounts are included. If you are not going to fix this graph, how about adding a graph based on account value so closed accounts are automatically eliminated as they have a $0 value.

When viewing the Accounts Tab the pie chart for "Accounts by Type" includes the number of closed accounts in the totals. That makes no sense at all to include closed accounts. My chart shows 303 "Other" types for a total of 39.1% of my total accounts. However, when pulling a report of "Other" and filtering out "Closed" the number drops to 0. The chart should only show active open accounts.

I agree - since the inclusion of accounts I have repaired the account type on all open accounts but the graph says I have 41.6% accounts noted as "Other". If I filter out closed accounts there are no "Other" accounts that are noted as Open. Why do closed accounts show up in the graph? It makes no sense. Closed accounts should be excluded by default.

as of 10-15-2022 there are 1208 votes on this issue yet no movement! Why do we bother to provide feedback if they aren't going to listen?

I am amazed that with Reg BI, Covid, and the myriad of federal regs that appear annually, improving the Client Review section would garner a higher level of urgency at Redtail. This category (as has the similar others) been on the list for some 5-10 years and the last notice posted from technology is 9-12 months ago. As we need to operate as fiduciaries (and the brokerage community is moving closer to that standard), we need better record keeping and processes to maintain our client relationships (and to provide CYA)!

Here we are some 2 years beyond the suggestion read but no movement. Sending a bulk email with a suggested portfolio change and needing to attach prospecti on the suggested funds - cannot attach multiple files. Have to combine all prospecti into one file to attach - not efficient and confusing to the client. CMON RT! this is a compliance issue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still no movement on this issue! how hard is it to add the ability to link a note to an activity. as it stands now, I may enter a note to a contact then realize it relates to an open or closed activity, I have to copy, paste the note to the activity note area then delete the original note losing the logged date and time of that note. too many steps.

Is there any new movement on this issue? I am wasting quite a bit of time getting the notes attached to the correct activity.

Please push to add this feature. With Covid19 I am scheduling more calls/video conferences with clients - as the activity for the meeting is on the calendar, and I am using Mobile Assistant for dictation, the notes are automatically being attached to the client file. I am having to copy the note to add it to the notes tab in the activity so I have the entire meeting in one place and deleting the prior note from Mobile Assistant so there are not 2 versions of the same note. I would much more efficient if I could just select the notes tab in the activity and select "attach an existing note" instead.

Why can we not link a note to an open/existing activity. We can create a new activity from a note but not link a new note to an existing activity. I use Mobile Assistant and will dictate notes from a client meeting. I would like the note to show up in the activity to keep things together. I am having to copy and paste from the note to the note section in the activity then delete the prior note so there not 2 copies. We should be able to open the note and link it to the activity.

Especially when using Mobile Assistant. You dictate a note for an appointment but the note doesn't come in for 8 business hours, and then it comes in as a note attached the client. The dictation is CYA on the activity. Should be able to attach it directly to an existing activity to keep the notes organinzed.

When using Mobil Assistant to dictate a note, it is placed automatically in the notes section. When that note relates to an activity, it would be great if, instead of copy and pasting in the linked notes area of the activity, we could search for an existing note and create the link there. (I like to see the notes for the activity when I am looking at the completed activity when I am reviewing for the next meeting)

Still waiting on movement here after 2 years - multiple accounts (some same type - i.e. IRA, SEP, BDA IRA) but no way of knowing which account is which when linking to a task or a note!

5 years later from first post and 17 months after review and yet no movement here. I don't understand what takes so long to make this logical change. Looking at an acct number with a not of the investment type does us no good, especially when there is more than one of the same type (2 529 plans - which one belongs to which beneficiary????). Come on RT - let's see some action!

This is also noted in another suggestion holding 68 votes - it's noted as received and under discussion but has been for some time. I don't understand what the issue is here - seems a no-brainer that closed accounts should not be accounted for on this screen - does not give an accurate picture of the practice.

If there is no due date, the workflow does not show up on a calendar or the Dashboard. Things are falling through the cracks as it becomes out of sight, out of mind. At least create a filter on the Dashboard so we can see all workflows, whether or not they are due that day

Broadcast emails are still in the stone age! We need to be able to add superscript for footnotes, and have more choice in font size and style

Formatting of broadcast emails is still in the stone age - we need to adjust fonts, add superscript for footnotes, import a picture, etc.

Work around in having the trust show up in the accounts section - When entering the ownership of the account, list the grantor first and list the trust as the joint account holder - account will now show up when viewing the family accounts
