I posted this idea already here: http://feedback.redtailtechnology.com/forums/281220-crm/suggestions/39125605-crm-document-storage-default-view?tracking_code=91ef04f78382d2aec9683eb15a6a282d.
However, the person who responded did not address the idea, they only re-iterated what I acknowledged was current functionality.

"CRM Document storage only has default view preferences between the CRM and Imaging.

Please add the ability to either:
    1) Sort the document views and make the uppermost option the default
    2) Add more default views to the user preference of "Default Document View"
    "

Overall, our firm would like to select documents and have it populate the ShareFile documents for the user. If there is another way to accomplish this, we are open to it.

    Thank you!

    Hi Lauren,

I am not sure to what extent you are looking for "viewing Citrix ShareFile documents in RedTail", but there is an integration with ShareFile. Hope this helps: https://help.redtailtechnology.com/hc/en-us/articles/203976170-Citrix-ShareFile

If the files are saved if your ShareFile, why not link the Client's RedTail profile to their ShareFile Folder? Adding them into the notes would cause possibly processing errors as you are duplicating the document and are creating an extra step for your team. Again, i do not understand the entire use case, but instead of adding to the notes section you could just add a note saying document X was created (maybe adding a link to the ShareFile document in the note would be a cool solution from RedTail). Then you only have one system of truth for maintaining documents.

Could you share your use case, I am curious how i can help my practice improve efficiencies. Thank you
