Feature on the calendar to export an event as an outlook event.
So it would be pretty cool if there was a feature that you can click on and that would copy an activity from the calendar and convert it to an outlook calendar item. This would be different from the outlook calendar integration. What I am thinking is, say you have 10 different events on your calendar on a specific day on redtail. You want only one of them on your outlook calendar. It would be neat if I have an option to click a button and convert it to an outlook event.

Allow to flag activities for today
Because I share activities with my paraplanner, I need a way to flag activities that I need to complete for the day and to sort them accordingly. I am having up to 60 activities a day due to a large client base and this would be a most helpful feature.

filter activity by category
Please add a function to Filter Activities by Category on the activities dashboard. Currently, we can only filter from Calendar view.

create a way to go into the client record after completing an activity from Today page or activity list.
Sometimes after completing an activity, we need to stay in the client record. Create an option to save the activity and proceed to the client record instead of going back to the activity list.

Show Calendar when rescheduling an Appointment, Time Block, etc
Let's face it, even the best laid plans change. Sometimes work from another client or project bleeds into your time block you allocated for something different and need to reschedule.
The only problem is, when you click to reschedule, you can change the date and time to whatever you'd like, but you can't see your calendar! It would be helpful if your calendar popped up somehow so you can choose an appropriate time for your schedule

Linked Contacts suggestion populate alphabetically
Contacts suggestions in places like "Linked Contacts" in activity details, or search bar should populate alphabetically by first and/or last name. This happens in the search bar currently but not the "Linked Contacts" field which is a guessing game currently on where the contact is on that list.

Activities add excllude weekend and holidays option
When creating activities please add the option for excluding weekend and holidays when selecting the recurrence timing

Activity reporting custom
ACTIVITY DISPLAY. The most important information I need is WHO the activity is form. This is now at the BOTTOM of the activity display ( that I get in email) I'd like to be able to move this information to the TOP of the display

New Button "Create & Complete"
For those of us who need to track the activity, not in notes.
A create and complete button would send the activity to Levitate too, so our "keep in touch" info is up to date. Notes doesn't do the trick there.4 votes -
Marking an activity as complete removes it for all users
I'd like the ability to mark only MY INVOLVEMENT as complete - not the entire task. We have advisors assigning task to multiple staff members and when one user completes the task, it disappears from the rest of the user's dashboard. I'd prefer it to not be officially complete until all users mark it as complete OR create an intermediate option where I can say that MY part is complete and then the last user to mark their portion as complete will complete the task.

Make it a site preference that activities and workflows have to link to a contact
It's way too easy to create an activity or a workflow that is not linked to a contact. The contact link really should be required, but at the very least you should be able to set your preferences so that either it makes it required for you, or it gives you a warning if you've left it blank. It's incredibly frustrating to realize (assuming you do) that you haven't linked the contact to a workflow or activity, and have to somehow track it down to add it. And then it's even more frustrating as a manager to run a report…

Having activities show up on the things to do today page everyday for a 3/4 day period
I would love it if when I set an activity for a 3/4 day period and it shows up every day on my things to do today page rather than just showing up on the first and last day of the activity. I know it would show up on the calendar but I prefer to see it on my things to do today page every day for the duration period as a reminder until I get it completed.

Activity Email Notifications
Can you please add an option to have a notification go to your email on the day that there is an activity assigned to us? We get notified when an activity is first assigned, completed, and updated but we do not receive one on the actual day the activity occurs. This would be useful because we often set activities months or years ahead of time and the initial notification is not as useful when the activity is far away from the current date. It would be nice to receive that notification so that we make sure we do not miss…

past due activities view should be default view
When looking at Today, I'd like to see "Past due" as well as "tue today" activities as a default

Send a notification if another user is already in an activity
If someone is in a activity and you go to open it, instead of allowing two people in the task and having one of the persons notes not being saved it would be helpful to receive a notification stating that the activity is in use by someone else and to check back later.
