  1. Please add ability to edit notes

    Because we cannot see client information behind the note, we have to often flip back and forth (save note, get add'l into, go back into the note to add comment. It would be much better to allow us to edit the same note rather than doing comments (which are hidden) or posting multiple notes for the same call/interaction. If it's a compliance issue, then set something like 24 hours to be able to edit a note before it's locked.

  2. Viewing Notes section

    Someone decided to make notes shorter and now we cannot see the notes added to Activities.....terrible when trying to scan through notes to find an issued

  4. ADD THE ABILITY TO CHANGE THE DATE AND TIME OF A NOTE.

    FCC HAS A VERY SIMILAR CRM AS REDTAIL. ONE FEATURE THAT WAS USEFUL WAS THE ABILITY TO ADJUST THE TIME AND DATE OF A CONVERSATION. SO IF I HAPPEN TO BE OUT OF THE OFFICE BUT HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH A CLIENT ON FRIDAY AT 1PM, BUT CAN'T ADD THE NOTE TILL WEDNESDAY OF THE FOLLOWING WEEK, REDTAIL DATES THE NOTE AS OF WEDNESDAY, WHEREAS FCC'S CRM ALLOWED US TO ENTER THE CORRECT DATE AND TIME AS FRIDAY AT 1PM. FOR COMPLIANCE PURPOSES THERE COULD STILL BE A TIME STAMP FOR WHEN THE NOTE WAS ACTUALLY ENTERED. THANKS.

  5. Activity notes in mobile app

    In the mobile app, we're currently unable to view or add notes linked to an activity. Since the workflow limitations cause work-arounds using activities, the ability to review and/or add notes to an existing activity would be helpful. We need to have a consistent experience whether we're working via the browser on our computers or the app on our mobile devices. The incompleteness of the mobile app in this manner makes it difficult to fully embrace the functionality of Redtail if we're unable to count on the consistency across platforms.

    If there is a spouse set up on the client record, when you add a new note having it automatically linked to the spouse would save a step of manually adding them.

  7. Have the ability to add and move notes around within the note history

    In certain situations, an advisor may not be able to add a note to a client account on the day a meeting or phone call happened. With that said, it would be extremely ideal to be able to add notes in for a specific date that would correspond with the actual date the meeting, phone call or Zoom meeting took place. That way, the notes would consistently be in chronological order. The ability to also move around previous notes, since this option isn't currently available, would be ideal.   8. Consolidated notes from texts, like Repchat

    It would be nice if client texts were grouped into one note per day or a separate folder for clients texts - we use Repchat

  10. Ability to do a keyword search through notes, and ability to search for notes added during a specific time period.

    We have times we don't remember which client we submitted a note for, so to search for the keyword in the notes category would be great. Or even search for all of the notes submitted during a specific time period. We can currently only view the notes submitted in the past week. What if we need to look at the notes submitted the previous week? There is no option, record, or list anywhere to access this.

  11. Notes--being able to link a contact to a note you have already posted.

    as it is now, you can only link a contact to a note at the time of creation so in order to link a contact you would have to delete the note and recreate it in order to link. it would be much easier if there was a 'link contact' feature under action just like there is a 'link account' feature action.

  12. Ability to Print Family Notes

    Currently there is no way to print "Family notes" in your reports. You can print individual client notes history by using the "notes by contact" report - but you are not able to select more than one contact. Please add the ability to print family notes by adding that check box like in the client notes section or by allowing us the ability to add multiple contacts to the report.

  13. Link a Contact to a note after it has been Created

    It would be very beneficial to have an option in the action menu of a note to link an additional contact after a note has been made. Currently if one forgets to include that additional contact in the initial making of the note, there is no way to copy that note, with all the comments underneath, to that additional contact without either completely restarting or copying the note and comments individually to that additional contact.
    If it could be the same as linking an account to a note, that would be wonderful!

  14. Ability to turn on/off the automatic notes generated from completed workflows & activities

    When a Redtail Workflow or Activity is completed, the system automatically generates a note in the client's Notes tab. We would like the ability to control if that is automatic or not because we are having to go in and delete them manually to keep our notes section clean. We can always reference completed Activities and Workflow summaries, so this seems redundant, especially because the note that is generated is not detailed and rather more of a summary.

  15. Notes e-Mail Notification - display full note

    When getting a notification that a note has been added and sent to us for review - it would be fantastic if that note would display in the e-mail instead of having to click to see the note and often times having to log in again (especially if working off the mobile app).

    I want efficiency, and having to click into an e-mail, to click the link to open a new tab is NOT efficient.

    It would be nice to see who you notified when you post a note. This way you can see clearly who you notified when you post a note.

  18. Link note to multiple activities

    Add the ability to link one note to multiple activities. For example, if you discuss multiple items with one client that are related to several activities, it would be nice to attach that note to all of the activities involved rather than have to copy/paste the same note into each activity thus cluttering up the timeline.

  19. Link note to existing task/activity

    Often times myself and my team rely on information both in the activity and the notes related to a client. It is very inconvenient that information from an existing not cannot be added into an existing activity. Is this something that you may include in the future?

  20. Notify User

    Our office likes to notify other employees in our office of recently added notes, basically just "FYIs". I know we can notify a users or team when we are creating the note, but I seem to forget to do so until right after I save the note.
    I would love if Redtail would add "Notify User" as one of the Action Items after a note has been added/saved.
