  1. Notes on mobile device - Can't scroll

    When viewing notes on your mobile device (ipad or iphone), once you select a note you can't use your finger to scroll through the actual note. You have to finagle around outside the note and try and catch the track to let you scroll through the rest of the notes. This is very frustrating, especially for longer notes.

  2. search notes by user

    Add the ability to EASILY search notes within a contact by user. Make it so we can do it by checking a user box. I need to have this ability, but not so frequently that I remember how to do it. It take me several minutes or calls to your technical support line to figure it out.

  3. Show comments on "Recently Added Notes"

    Please include recently added comments to the "Recently Added Notes" page under the dashboard. This will help us to get like projects together as well as stay on top of them and not redo the work someone else already did.

  4. archive old notes to speed up the notes report

    the longer I use Redtail the bigger my notes reports becomes. that is a good thing except that i rarely need to access notes from, say 10 years ago and the notes reports can bog down and cause a timeout. Could you auto-archive notes beyond perhaps 5 years? I still want them accessible and searchable, but they could be in an archive "just in case" rather than the "let me scan the last 2-3 years worth of notes" scenario that happens daily but requires hundreds of pages of notes to be pulled causing (I am guessing) pretty heavy usage on…

  5. Option to add a new contact when entering notes

    It would be nice to add a new contact from notes (like you can when adding a spouse under family name) so that when a new prospect calls in we can take notes right away without adding all the contact information. Otherwise we are doing it after the fact and using another program to take the notes initially.

  6. link contact to note after note is posted

    After a note is posted, would it be possible to add a feature where an additional contact is linked to said note? Instead of deleting and recreating the note. We know there is a feature to copy the note to a new contact. But when comments are added or activities are linked, we would like to all parties involved to be on the same page

  7. Reg BI, CRS, etc.

    Would it be possible in Notes &/or Activity to add check boxes for delivery of:
    - CRS Advisor Form (RIA) - CRS Form (Broker-Dealer)
    - BIA - REG BI
    - ADV - Product Brochure
    - Prospectus
    Also, Make it a searchable field when in Notes (&/or Notes Report). So, when they are doing a Audit it would be a quick check for the Auditor.

  8. Note templates on the app

    Right now, on the Redtail app we can only add a note by note category. It would be very helpful to also include note templates as an option on the app as well.

  9. enable ability to create activity/note for multiple related clients

    I would like to be able to update both the husband & wife (and joint) at one time when I have a telephone conversation with both. So far, I've only found that I can copy the note to another client.

  10. Show the note when you "notify other user" Please include the note when we notify the other user. It's too many steps to have the user login

    Please include the note when we notify the other user. It's too many steps to have the user login and search the client just to see the note. Our staff would like to be able to just view the note right there from the email message.

  12. Time stamp AND date stamp on each note permanently without hovering.

    Time stamp AND date stamp on each note permanently without hovering. Dates are much more important than what day of the week something occurred. We must know the date applications were submitted, calls received, etc. to track items correctly.

  13. Scan a document into notes section using the app

    I would like a scan function in the app, so when I am handed a document or take notes by hand on the road I can go to a client's note section in the app and scan it in.

  14. bulk change notes permissions

    We have had client's change advisors and we want to be able to change the permissions on all the notes to the new advisor in once action versus having to change the permission on every historical note.

  15. Go Back to Beginning of Notes

    It would be great to have an option to go directly to the initial note that was entered or all the way back to the beginning of the clients notes. It takes too long to scroll through and let the notes load when a client has over 10 years worth of notes. If there's a way around it already please let me know!

  17. Attach a document in a note

    If you have a document that you would like easily attached to the note. It would be nice to be able to attach the document in the note as well.

  18. mobile draft notes

    PLEASE Have a DRAFT note feature for Mobile devices. I just LOST almost 15 minutes worth of notes when I switched applications to retrieve a reference in the middle of a detailed client note!

  20. update important information reporting

    I would like to be able to pull a Report on the "Update Important Information" box at the top right that becomes a Red Exclamation point when a note is added. Is this possible?
