  1. Adding a flag or reminder feature in Notes

    After adding a note, can we get a feature to flag the note or a reminder to go back to the note in "x" number of days? Currently, the only way I can remind myself of the note is to create a follow-up activity. Let's say I speak with a client who tells me that she/he will send me a document in three days. I make a note of the call in RT and set a reminder (instead of an activity) to flag the note in four days. In four days, I am reminded of the Note and if the…

  2. Please Revisit: Need Separate Category Lists for Notes and Activities

    I see that this question was first asked in January 2016 and not responded to until October 2019. I also see that the answer given in 2019 was that this suggested feature was “either not possible or not planned at the current time. Technology changes all the time.”

    Your answer is quite late and very disappointing.

    Because you won’t make the database work this way, the only usable workaround I’ve found is to create two entries for each Category and indicate that one of them is to be used for Notes.

  3. I'd like to receive an error message when creating notes and something is missing

    When entering a note it did not save without having to select a user for permissions. I'd like to be able to see an error message as to why my notes aren't saving.

  4. Add contact info into the note reports

    When printing out note reports, you should also be able to see their contact info such as their phone number and email at the top. Currently it has their name, date note was added on, account, category, type, and added by. The phone number and email of the person should also be included in that section.

  5. note filter

    It would really be nice if we could have Note Filters that include E-mail History (for Redtail E-mail hosted e-mail addresses) and Redtail Speak History in addition to the existing note filter types. Currently, you have to go to three places: E-mail History, Redtail Speak History and notes section to see what has occurred in a client record. Our firm is currently cutting and pasting a copy of the e-mail into the notes (even though we have Redtail e-mail hosting) and we will cut and paste some of the Redtail Speak texts into the notes section so we can see…

  6. Notes from all sources

    It would be very helpful on the notes page if you were able to see ALL notes - like the ones from workflows and opportunities and just placed into a profile in general. Some of our clients have multiple things going on at once. When you give them a call about one topic, they may decide they want to check in on the another event that is also on going.     Being able to search on Pin Note. I saw an idea was declined about having an expiration date for a Pinned Note because it could go into the Important Information Circle. Problem is, "nobody" thinks to look in there.

    We would love to see any Notes placed into Outlook be synced to the Notes section in Redtail via Retriever for Tailwag app.

  9. Easy toggle for multiple linked activities to a note

    We are now able to link multiple activities to a single note (which is an awesome feature!!), and when you are on the clients main page you can see the how many activities are linked to a particular note. But when you click on the hyperlink to bring you to the multiple activities, it automatically directs you to oldest outstanding activity. My suggestion would be some sort of drop down, or list out multiple links to direct oneself to the appropriate activity. Is this at all possible?

  10. chart

    When I paste a chart into a note on a client's record, it does not display the chart on their timeline. Instead, it shows just an ellipses - not useful for determining the contents of the chart!

    It would be much better if the charts displayed properly on the timeline without having to open the note that contains them.

  11. splitting a joint note

    If I create a Note with multiple clients, each Follow Up Activity gets listed under each client record. Please create option to list under one client record. (For ex: "Client Meeting" Not created under husband and wife. But I need to create a few follow up activities, some under only the husband, some under only wife.

  12. Add filter to Recently Added Notes (Notes Dashborad) and Latest Notes on Contact Page

    Redtail currently has the ability to use filters on the Contact Notes page, but I would like to be able to use the same filter on the Recently Added Notes/Notes Dashboard page and the Latest Notes section on a Contact's page. Both of those places show the completed activities mixed in with the notes and it gets very convoluted. Some important notes get lost in the shuffle if there are many completed activities.

  13. Set a Note Category as default view in filters instead of just Note Type

    Its Great that we now can default what the note Type is in the CRM from the preferences but I would like to see the ability to also do this for the Note Categories as well instead of just the Note Types.

    I would love to see a Daily Journal feature added for an advisor to utilize for general thoughts that come up through the day.

  15. bulk change notes permissions

    We have had client's change advisors and we want to be able to change the permissions on all the notes to the new advisor in once action versus having to change the permission on every historical note.

  18. "Hide" bulk emails from showing up in notes

    We would like to option to hide bulk emails, labels created, other from showing up in notes so that only true notes are reflected on client profiles without having to scroll through unimportant data to locate client specific notes. We send out bulk emails at least once per week, which means scrolling through several insignificant notes to get to the important items.

  19. adding additional accounts in the notes

    I would like to be able to add more than one account to a note so if a client had three accounts we talked about, there would be a way to link all three rather than just one.
