  1. Workflow Dates Expansion

    I want to see the ability to have workflow dates for steps and tasks expanded. IE: If a certain task is done the Monday prior to the target date, etc.

    I also think it would be helpful if the task date was triggered by the previous step or task getting completed - otherwise there are tasks or steps that are ALWAYS past due because the person prior didn't complete on time and you can't see the next step or task until that is done and they are already past due.

  2. Workflow Automation

    There should be an option on workflow automations to designate who the specific advisor/s, or empolyee/s the automation workflow is being created for.

    For example if Jerry and Bob work through the same data base they have access to each other's calendar, contacts etc. But Jerry wants to create an automated workflow when activities are added. The downside to this is that when Bob now creates an activity it automates a workflow for him as well, and he does not like this feature.

  3. On Contact WorkFlows to have a column that says who the next step is assigned to.

    It would be so helpful if we could add a column on the Contact WorkFlows section to be able to quickly identify who the next step is assigned to. Currently a client has 5 active WFs and if I am working on a client and click on the Workflows, there is no quick way to tell if any of the workflows are assigned to me without opening all five of the workflows.

  4. uncomplete workflow tasks from completed step

    We have multiple people in our office completing tasks and one individual incorrectly completed a final task in a step. There should be a way to uncomplete that task even though the step is complete

  5. Ability to enter a Target Date independent of Start Date

    Perhaps this is already done but I can't figure it out. The situation is as follows; scheduling clients for reviews in 2 months. My review prep workflow spans 4 weeks prior to that meeting. I'd like to set the Target Date the date of the review. Thus clients can be entered all at once but have different start dates for their workflow based on their review dates. Savvy?

  6. Ability for team members to see when someone is working on a task

    When a task is assigned to a team, it would be very nice for all users on that team to be able to see when a task is being worked on by another team member. This way 2 team members do not both work on the task simultaneously

    I am new to Redtail and upon being shown a demo we were impressed by the Workflows. It was not made clear that the "templates" were not actually templates that could be used but only a sample. It would be extremely helpful to actually have TEMPLATES that customers could use instead of having to create them from scratch.

  8. Option to allow steps to be active/triggered on the date they are due regardless if the previous step completed

    We need workflow steps not to be hindered by the previous step being uncompleted that the next step isn't triggered for those steps that have a date.
    We use the step tasks as reminders on the specified date to run certain reports on that date. If the step before it isn't fully completed, it shouldn't prevent the next step being active on the date it's due. I know you can skip steps with outcomes and there are "ways around" certain things I've read in Retail's comments on similar requests... but that is not what I'm talking about and that doesn't…

  9. Show Workflow details when hovering over title

    It would be super helpful if we could see the details/notes about a Workflow by hovering over the title on the list of My Workflow Tasks. (Much like you can hover over a task and see notes.) We use workflow templates, so in my list of Workflows, I might see five or more titled "schedule appointment". Redtail could improve functionality by showing details when hovering over each so I can see my notes at a glance, like that I've left a voicemail, waiting for callback, etc without having to click into each workflow to see those status notes.   11. Workflow Tasks Assigned to Business Day

    Allow the calculation of workflow days to be done by business days. Currently we have activities occurring 14 consecutive days but skipping the weekend. So it then pushes multiple days onto Monday instead of skipping the weekend all together. It is a logical flaw in the way workflows work.

  12. Workflows Page - Add Percent Complete Column to Main Dashboard

    You cannot see the percent complete field in the main workflows dashboard. You can see it once you click into each individual workflow. Can we have the percent complete column added to the main dashboard screen. Can you add all columns and have an ability to choose your columns view similar to the way you can select certain columns on the contacts overview.

  13. Workflow Automation From a Active Workflow

    An outcome in a workflow can not be an automation to start a new workflow. For example, we have Client Appointment Workflow. If it gets rescheduled, we have to close it rather than being able to initiate a new one.

  14. workflow task due date

    In response to another post "Workflow Template - Assign Task Due Date," I understand that the timeline for a workflow is set by the steps, but it would be helpful to be able to pre-determine due dates of tasks or at least when manually going in to edit a task, that step due date shows so you can make sure your task due date isn't set too early or too late.

  15. workflow dashboard

    During tax season when we have a ton of tax WFs and a ton of Quarterly Report WFs in addition to our normal WFs, it becomes difficult to see "how we're doing."

    It would be great to have a WF dashboard that reflects how far you are with WFs and if WFs are getting stuck on one team member or step.

    We end up having a separate spreadsheet for the tax WFs to let us know how we're doing at a glance. It seems like this could be built into RT.

  16. Move workflow tasks within a workflow template from one step to another

    Ability to move tasks within a workflow template from one step to an existing step or a new step. Currently, you have to create an entirely new task within the step. Some tasks have detailed information and it would be nice to be able to reserve that info versus retyping or copy/paste.

  17. Trigger a workflow within a workflow.

    For instance, if you are doing an onboarding workflow for a new account, but one the account is established you have to wait for a TOA or an EFT-you could make an outcome trigger your TOA or Deposit workflows.

  18. Trigger Webhooks on Workflow Step Completion

    An "Outcome" option for workflow steps should be the ability to trigger a Webhook POST http request to a custom URL. The admin should be able to customized the request so that contact and workflow fields can be included in the body of the request.

  19. Update Existing Workflows with Template Changes

    We occasionally update our workflow templates, and when we do so we want our existing workflows to have the new format. It would be helpful if there were an action to update existing workflows when a workflow template is changed.
