  1. Workflow Sort by Task Due Date

    Under the work flows I would like to sort by task due date instead of step. that way I can see what task and who is assigned holding up the process. then I also don't have to try to update the date of the step when I move it. The Tasks easily update with a calendar pop up, but the steps I have to calculate based off the original date how many days or weeks after i want to move it. Its a big guessing game

  2. when viewing a workflow view steps/tasks without having to open and loose your spot

    When viewing the workflow templates under manage your account, we should be able to click and view the workflow steps/tasks and close to look at another template without having loose all the search information.

  3. recurring tasks

    Three things: 1) when adding a new task, it would be great if the task edit box opened automatically instead of having to create the task and then click to edit the task. Just eliminates a step. 2) we would like to have the option to have recurring tasks in a workflow - ex: send quarterly report to client XYZ. 3) If there was a way closing one workflow could automate the start of another specific workflow, that would also be awesome! Right now we have a final task or outcome in the workflow that reminds the user to manually…

  4. workflow complete

    Is it possible to change the workflow column headed Completed to read what appears to me as common sense. If it is completed, it would read completed. Now it reads completed until you complete it, then it reads as uncompleted. The status column shows the action already. Why is the Completed column even needed? Is there something I am not understanding?

  5. workflow templates

    As a user, I want to be able to save my Workflow Template filter selection permanently. 99% of the time I want to work with an Active Template, but every time I access Workflow Templates I have to also update the filter

  6. Notes on tasks within Workflows

    I know we can make Step notes when an entire step is completed. However when we have multiple people doing tasks within a step, it would be nice to have a separate field for them to put notes in regarding that particular task when it is complete. Yes I am aware there is a "description field" for a task and yes I know we can add notes there. That is work around and not a solution.

  7. Adding an automation for multiple people responsible for a workflow. i.e advisor notes vs admin adding to CRM

    In our on boarding workflow both the Advisor and the admin team have different responsibilities that follow one another. One must be done before you can proceed to the next step, but we get held up when the Advisor doesn't do their part,eg. client notes, personal card, etc. If an alert or email was automated to be sent to the next person responsible, we wouldn't have to call them out or keep asking them to do it.

  8. workflow

    From the Today page, "Workflows Due Today" need a toggle to look at past due and future tasks, like activities have. It would also be awesome to change the assigned to like the activities have.

  9. Add workflows to Mobile App

    We need the ability to see, edit and initiate workflows within the Mobile App. Workflows are a major part of how we use Redtail.

  10. workflow items in mobile app

    I'm loving the updates to the iphone app! I would love the ability to see my workflow items on the calendar. Is this possible?

  11. Workflow option to apply to married couple/family

    When assigning a Workflow such as "New Client Onboarding," it would be nice if we had the option to apply the workflow to the married couple or to the "family.". Redtail is requiring that I complete each of the steps and tasks for the husband and wife separately and this is redundant as our firm only requires these steps/tasks be completed once per married couple/family. Thank you for considering.

  12. "Complete Current Step" add this button the the today tab for workflows

    Instead of the "Complete Current Step" being an option ONLY on the workflows tab, add it to the drop down menu on the today tab as well.

  13. Would like the ability to add a Step Note without Uncompleting a Task already Completed

    It is cumbersome to have to go back through a Step and mark formerly completed tasks because the Note feature changed the status.

  14. Generating the next step/task in a workflow.....

    Instead of showing ALL the steps/tasks due on the calendar, a step/task should not show up on the calendar until the previous step/task is completed. Example: Step 1/Task 1 (marked completed) then the next Task 2 within the Step 1 is generated. Once all the tasks have been generated 1 at a time and completed then the Step 2 would generate. That way the calendar is not bombarded with so many tasks. This is especially helpful when so many steps/tasks are generated for a multitude of clients.

  15. Add automatic actions to workflows

    Rather than just add tasks for users to complete, add the ability to update contact fields, account fields, and UDFs automatically after a task has been completed.
    i.e. After a client comes in for a meeting, update the UDF "last meeting" to the workflow's target date.

  17. workflow outcome description template

    Ability to create a template for the 'step notes' free-entry text box (comes up after completing a workflow step and adding an outcome). IE to make sure outcome notes are consistent, and prompt/remind user what details should be included in that box.

    Similar to the template ability for description box on activities + notes.

  19. Expanding Workflow Tasks

    The design view of workflows has the task info expanded and able to see in a nice viewable format. When deployed, the info provided in each task can only be viewed either by hovering over the link in a bubble or by editing the task.

    It would be nice if each task was an expandable view and able to show the info in the same view/format as when it is created in the design view. with clickable links too!!

  20. Workflow use of completed vs un-completed tasks

    Currently the tool under each task says completed when you build out a work flow with multiple steps. Why would you not have this stay un-completed and as you complete the tasks mark them. Anyone looking at the work flow would assume these are all completed. If you try to change them all to un-completed it marks the workflow as completed. Just confusing to me.
