  1. Billable Time Tracking

    I'd like to see a check box "billable" so we can know if the time spent with or on the client was billable. and have a report that we can print/export that would have the clients name, and activity details such as duration, and description

  2. Need a spot to add beneficiary info without creating beneficiary as a contact.

    I want to add client beneficiary information without having the beneficiary as a contact in the CRM. Include a section in "Know Your Client" to add beneficiary name, DOB, SS#, address, etc.

  3. Assign Activity to Team

    I would like to be able to assign an activity to a team, instead of only being able to assign activities to users.

    This works well for reassigning tasks and roles while individuals are out or unavailable.

    For instance Joe Smith (JS) handles all of our client paperwork. Jane Doe (JD) is the paraplanner in the office. I have created a team: "Client Service - JS". Joe Smith is currently the only member of that team. I would like to be able to assign activities (like processing client paperwork) to Client Service - JS. If Joe Smith decides to leave…

  4. Risk tolerance options in Redtail Tailwag

    Currently there are three risk tolerances in Redtail CRM and we do not have the ability to modify them. Within TFA and our practice we use five. It would be great if you could add low-moderate and moderate-high. What is there now does not accurately reflect our clients needs and does not filter into LasarApp the way it needs to be.

  6. Add fields to comply with the "know your client" FINRA requirements

    Right now about 1/3 of the necessary fields are there and if we could get them all there, easier to document for our records and can be used by virtual assistants.

  7. "Important Information" Block

    We would love it if there was a block where we could input important general contact information at the top of the main page for a contact. Currently, we can only enter such information in Notes, which are not editable and usually get buried in the timeline. We want a block that is very visible upon opening a contact's page, where we can put general information like "usually in Florida from December through May" or "currently battling cancer", etc. We also want to be able to add to and edit the information in this "block" as needed.

  8. Allow Customization of the Know Your Client Tab

    All advisor offices do client reviews a little differently. Many use the information on the Know Your Client tab during the review. However, the fields on the KYC tab are limited and static. If an advisor wants to add information about their long-term care or disability policy, or other options discussed, that field is not on the tab, nor can you run reports for it. If an advisor wants to discuss position concentrations, and possible trading options, that field is not on this tab. It would be great if you built in the flexibility for each advisor to customize this…

  9. Automatic notification/letter distribution 180 and 90 days prior to a client's 65th birthday in regard to Medicare status.

    There is a need for automatic notification and letter distribution 180 days and 90 days prior to a client's 65th birthday in regard to their Medicare status. The reminder would need to key off of the established birth date; at the very least the advisor or advisor's assistant should be provided a notice at 180 days and 90 days prior to the client's 65th birthday.

  10. Calendar Blocking

    When you go on a conference or vacation. Your event last longer than one day. It would be nice to have a feature when you select all day, to have an end day. It would be the same day's date if it was just for that day, but if you were going to be at this event for a whole week it could block those days off your calendar for you.

    Add an Estate planning section under KNOW YOUR CLIENT with the following sub sections
    1. Health Care directives - yes or no
    2. A durable power of attorney - yes or no
    3. A Will - name of will

  12. phonetic field for names

    There should be a phonetic pronunciation field for client names, one for each first, middle, and last name, so new client service workers don't butcher saying a clients name.

  13. Time tracker

    Similar to Toggle, something that when you're in the CRM on a client, you can hit a button and it times who is working on that client and for how long, maybe have project options. This would be very helpful when you have to bill clients. Also, you'd have a log of how much time you spend with that client.

  15. Add columns to the Accounts Overview page

    It would be very helpful to have along with: Number, Company, Product.... to also have "Beneficiary" and "Insured." If these were available we could review over the phone at a glance and see which policies or accounts need updating. There is a big push for accountability for advisors to be sure the beneficiary designations are correct. This would also help identify insurance policies on children which are owned by their parents.

  16. Client Intake Form to email or provide tablet for clients to complete

    Would like a client Intake Form they can complete online at home and it automatically populate Redtail client info -- or at least a tablet version so the client can type in their new/updated information.

  17. There should be three editable options under client review:

    Last Review - enter date of most recent review.
    Next Review Due - enter date to begin contact for setting next review.
    Next Review Set - enter date when review is set.

    Otherwise the client review area is useless.

  18. Add Client Review Automation trigger event

    It would be very helpful if an activity was automatically created for client reviews so that we can track, follow up, make notes, postpone ect... Currently, we have to manually input the review after checking the know your client section.

    In the old version of Redtail, it gave you the option to print a blank profile form. We used the blank profile form for new clients, children and existing clients

  20. Add a client fee section to the client profile to I know what I am charging them

    Adding a client fee and estimated annual revenue section to the client profile would be very helpful so I can quickly reference what the client is getting charged as well as pull a report for how many clients I am charging 1% and how many clients I am charging 0.5% or pull a total projected revenue report etc.
