Note Category - Ability to select more than one category for a note
We would like the ability to select more than one Category for Notes. It is really common for us to take notes from a client meeting that covered several different topics or Categories. For example, the category might include a category called "Regular Progress Update" and the client might have requested a wire transfer so we would also have a category called "Money Movement" or "Wire Transfer".
Redtail’s Product Owner has read the suggestion and there is some internal discussion needed in order to determine next steps.

I would also suggest that multiple categories be an option for an activity as well.

We cover multiple topics when meetings with clients. Please add functionality that would allow us pick multiple categories when creating activities and notes. Multiple categories in notes and activities would improve our ability to refine searches and reports.

2 years later and still under review?! Can we please get an update on this? Having the ability to organize our clients into more than 1 category is essential and I'm surprised this isn't an option. We will be looking into other CRM's if this simple feature isn't feasible for RT.
couldn't agree more. example we want to add note about client selling house. i would prefer to have this as note category Real Estate as well as say Tax Info.
It would be helpful if we could select more than one category when posting a note, activity, etc.

It would be helpful to tag notes with more than one category, such as if we received an email and emailed the client back, we could tag the note with "Email Received" and "Email Sent", or "Call Received" and "Call Left Message", so that the note itself would say soemthing like, "Client called and left a voicemail. I called back and spoke with the client." Multiple categories would show that the note refers to both a voicemail received and a call made.
