If changes, updates or additions to Activities and Notes could automatically save, or at least ask if you want to save before you move away
If changes, updates or additions to Activities and Notes could automatically save, or at least a prompt if you want to save before you move away. Things can get moving very fast at administrative desks, and entering a note while the phone is ringing, or updating an activity while being given other instructions are not rare occurrences, and not having an update to an appointment or note of a transaction stick can cause major malfunctions for office operations. We are learning the new way, but most things entered are meant to stick, adding the step of having to save, for notes twice, only leaves room for error. "I remember entering that note, where is it at?"

Agreed! Please create a "Leave site? Changes you made may not be saved" pop up warning (like Gmail has) when a user tries to close a Redtail webpage or tries to go back to the Redtail dashboard.
Currently, users can be in the middle of making edits to an activity/adding details to the description or notes, and Redtail does not warn you to save changes before leaving the page. -

An enhancement that would at least offer a "do you want to save changes" prompt would be EXTREMELY helpful! I can't tell you how many times I have been entering appointment notes and something else comes up. Even though I intent to open a in a new window, habit just has me typing a name in the search box and hitting enter - then it's too late! Some type of prompt to "Save Changes" would be a game changer!!
