orion integration field mapping for two way integration
Under the current Orion Household <-> Redtail two-way sync integration, the first name field of the Orion Household links to the first name field of the primary Redtail contact. This is not ideal. The "equivalent" of the Orion Household name is the Redtail Family Name.
For example, assume John Doe is married to Jane Doe. Both are contacts in Redtail and and are joined together under the same family name in Redtail. Each John & Jane have separate IRA accounts in a Household group in Orion.
In Orion, the first name of the household has been set to "John & Jane" and the last name of the household has been set to "Doe". This not only makes searching households easier in Orion, but it makes all household reports in Orion print as "Household: John & Jane Doe".
If the address is changed, this will cause the first name fields to sync and change either the Redtail client's first name to "John & Jane" or change the Orion household first name to "John".
Given that name changes are rare, wouldn't it be best just not to sync those fields? Or, if they sync should the mapping be Redtail family name <-> Orion Household name?

I thought I was the only one with this problem! I would prefer you could link at the registration level, rather than the household level, so you could link both members of the household separately.
