  1. Show the note when you "notify other user" Please include the note when we notify the other user. It's too many steps to have the user login

    Please show the note when you "notify other user" or "notify team"

    Please include the note when we notify the other user. It's too many steps to have the user login and search the client just to see the note. Our staff would like to be able to just view the note right there from the email message.

  2. searching in Notes

    This feedback relates to the "Note Filters" field found on the Notes page. We use the "search text" field to be able to locate a specific note. This features works great to search the text of notes. However, we have discovered that it doesn't return results from within "Comments" that were added to the note. The comments feature is very useful to keep the string together, however, we would really like the search text field to source from within comments as well. Thank you.

  3. When putting in a note have the ability to link a workflow

    When adding a note in RedTail it would be very helpful if you could link a workflow to the note at that time similar to how you can set a followup reminder to the note that was added.

  4. Automatically create note when updating a UDF

    I use a UDF to track my clients' "Review Status" with values set as Scheduled, Completed, Waived, or No Response. Is there a way to have a change in the UDF value automatically trigger an action? What I'd like to have happen is:

    IF UDF value = Scheduled, THEN create new activity (to open the create activity dialogue box so I could add their appointment to their Redtail account).

    IF UDF value = Completed, THEN create new note (so I can enter notes about the review).

    IF UDF value = Waived, THEN create new note (so I can add a…

  5. When you save an email as a note, can you make it available in the most recent notes link for that day? The email is saved in the client's n

    When you save an email as a note it would be nice to see it show up on the daily notes link. Currently, mine are being saved in the client's notes history, but not in the most recent notes from the link for all notes.

  6. Being able to increase size of NOTES box

    it would be nice if we could increase the size of the notes box. it is small. hard to see. hard to type. when typing long notes, i usually have to type in word first, then copy and past into redtail. double work. waste of time.

  8. Color Coordinating Redtail Notes

    It would be really helpful if we could color coordinate our notes to help distinguish between them. For example, if we can have a note automatically turn Red whenever a comment is attached to it to help distinguish it from a note that doesn't have a comment attached to it.

  9. Important Note Popup on Client Home Page

    Instead of a red exclamation point, have a banner that pops up prominently on the client's home screen to display important notes every time the account is opened.

  10. additional linked contacts should be spouse or family first

    While creating a note and adding an add'l linked contact to the note it used to list the spouse first or any contacts related to the HOH. Now you have to search through all of the Andersons, for example, before you can select the spouse. They previously were the first one listed so you didn't have to go through the entire list of Andersons. Please add this feature back. It is inefficient and I can't figure out why you changed it.

    Notes on completed tasks should be visible from the client's page without clicking on the completed task or looking underneath. For example, we have our "Client Check-in" calls and add notes into the "notes" tab on the right-hand side. We would like to be able to see it in a little blurb in the competed task.

  15. adding additional accounts in the notes

    I would like to be able to add more than one account to a note so if a client had three accounts we talked about, there would be a way to link all three rather than just one.

  17. When adding notes in steps/tasks of a workflow, please create option to add that note to client's profile notes to avoid need to duplicate

    Our firm keeps track of progress in workflow using notes, however we also keep notes in the main notes section of a client profile but currently have to copy notes from the workflow into profile notes. Please add an option to add workflow note into main profile note.

  19. Easy toggle for multiple linked activities to a note

    We are now able to link multiple activities to a single note (which is an awesome feature!!), and when you are on the clients main page you can see the how many activities are linked to a particular note. But when you click on the hyperlink to bring you to the multiple activities, it automatically directs you to oldest outstanding activity. My suggestion would be some sort of drop down, or list out multiple links to direct oneself to the appropriate activity. Is this at all possible?

  20. Notes Notification Report

    It would be helpful to be able to pull a report of notes in which you were notified on. e.g. An advisor makes a note in the client record and notifies his assistant. There currently is not a way for the assistant to pull a report of notes on which she was notified. Maybe it could just be added as an additional filter to the Notes By Contact report?
