Update Existing Workflows with Template Changes
We occasionally update our workflow templates, and when we do so we want our existing workflows to have the new format. It would be helpful if there were an action to update existing workflows when a workflow template is changed.

Complete workflow task in a later step
Be able to complete a task that is NOT in the current step. So if I have 3 steps and I haven't finished step 1 yet, I would still like to be able to mark a task in step 3 as "complete."

Undo a step in the workflow
You should be able to undo a step in a workflow. Sometime we make a mistake or click to many times and complete a task when it shouldn't be. If the task is the last task of the step it completes the step and moves to the next and you can't go back.

Please provide unlimited trigger options
In order to make systems more automated and instead of having to manually create a bulk action to send a broadcast email, I would like to have some emails automatically sent when an Activity Category is changed within a workflow.
Because Redtail Automations are frustratingly limited and only provide an option to email user, email team, link workflow or set field, there should be a way within Redtail to have a review confirmation email, no reply email or thank you email to automatically send when changing the activity category or if there is another trigger and action that would get…

be able to print all workflow letters at one time
Have an option to generate all workflow letters at one time. We use workflows for our onboarding process and appointment process. We probably generate 15-20 letters daily some days there are alot more. We need a feature to generate all of these to print at once.

notes and document attachment in workflow
It would be nice to be able to attach documents when putting in a note in workflow step/task. It would also be nice to see the notes from the general notes page when

workflows
It would be nice if we could view workflow tasks like we do activities and have the option to filter by who assigned to and filter dates. I know there is a workflow report but you have to consistently reset the filters and it is not as user friendly.

Ability to see past due workflow tasks on "Workflow tasks to do today" but in red
Right now when a teammate completes a workflow task that is past it's set due date, the next person in the workflow is not alerted that it has been completed and it shows up as past due. Unless I check "Past Due" workflows every day, it is very easy for things to get missed. This is a HUGE problem and could lead to massive errors. I propose that the next step in a completed workflow that is "Past Due" either have a reminder with it or show up in red on the "Workflow tasks to do today." Thank you!

attach activity to workflow
It would be helpful to be able to attach activities to a active workflow. That way you would see that the workflow task is complete by seeing the activity notes since you can't really put activity like notes within a workflow.

Select & Send Clients from a Workflows to Search
It would be really helpful to be able to send contacts from a Workflow List into Search. The bulk actions available in Search are awesome, but often we want clients listed in Workflows to have those same bulk options.
Example:
Workflow is on "reach out to schedule" step of the review workflow. Select all Workflows and hit "Send to Search". Once these clients are in the same search query, we would be able to send a broadcast email with a calendar link.Other Possible Solution: Add bulk action options in the Workflows List page

View past due Workflow activities / Roll forward past due Workflow Activities
The Workflow screen on the main CRM page shows workflow tasks due that day. However, there is no ability to see, or roll forward, past-due workflow activities.
I am suggesting functionality similar to the view/roll-forward capabilities for past due Activities, just applying it to Workflow tasks.

Workflow bulk actions for date changes
It would be great to be able to pull up (your) workflows and bulk-action them to a (same) date.....instead of individually moving each one forward/to another date each day. Thanks, Team RedTail!!!

The support team should be able to forward a suggestion
I have the idea all mapped out in a word document with pictures. I can't sent it to you this way. So, I sent it to support. They said they can't send it one.
1) Support should be able to send on an idea. That's to compartmentalized if they have to take the time to respond to me to tell me they can't send it on.
2) I should be able to send an attachment to you

Workflow task bulk delete
Add radio buttons to the left of each workflow task so I can bulk delete a number of tasks all at once. Our meeting workflow template has every task that may need to be completed for a client meeting and inevitably some tasks need to be deleted from every workflow.

Workflow Template Filter Option
Allow the filter to only show active workflows by default. Every time I go in, I filter my active workflow templates, go into one of them, and go back to the template list and I have to filter again. I do not want to delete the other ones, just want to remove them from view until I actually want to see them.

Notes on Workflows
It would be great to have a general place for notes on a workflow, kind of like they are on Activities. That way, there's no need to go looking for a note on step notes or tax comments.

send notification or reminder the a workflow has started or to remind people they have something due
When creating a new workflow, I want to let someone know that the process has started. IT would be great to be able to have a drop down option "Notify User" that would send a notification to people who may not have tasks but you want notified that the process has started.
Similarly, for workflows that I created and are overdue, the ability to send a reminder that someone has a task due.
These would override the user's notification preferences on just those workflows.
