  1. Change Formatting of Website Code for Phone Numbers

    Mitel Web Dialer, which is a Chrome Extension, is working the way it is intended on any other website, but in Redtail it is not. The way it works is any phone number on the page will be highlighted orange and with just a click, it will dial it using the Mitel phone assistant application.
    In Redtail we figured out what the issue essentially is. I am attaching a screenshot of some of the webpage and the developer mode.
    The red highlights the “href” with the “tel:” basically, that is what’s causing the Mitel dialer to not see it as…

  3. Add riskalyze to main contact record

    I was wandering if you could add the riskalyze score on the main page of a contact record? There seems to be plenty of empty space next to the clients nae that a small version of the Risalyze speed limit sign could go in.

  4. mail merge fields

    Why is it taking so long to make more mergeable fields? There should have been updates to these along time ago. Mail Merge items that are of DIRE NEED are:
    SSN (client & spouse)
    Cell phone # (client & spouse)
    DOB--spouse is not
    email address -- spouse is not
    FULL NAME -- spouse to many merge fields to get one result
    ID #'s (client & spouse)
    ETC.
    IF it is on the contact record we should not have to export the information into a spreadsheet and then put it into a word document not very efficient!

  5. Ability to sort/move contact info sections

    Please add the ability to personalize the order of the sections under a contact record. Currently, the order is:
    Contact Name
    Accounts
    Activities
    Documents
    Etc.

    At least half of these are unused by our company. It would be really nice if each user, or even the company admin, could arrange these so that the most used sections are at the top.

  6. Redtail Mobile App 3.0+ View Household Members

    When going to visit clients we like to ask how the family is doing. While on the road we like to review the clients info so that we better know our client when we walk in the door. Names are important for us so If we can view household members and link them to a contact record that would finally allow us to move from Outlook notes to being fully covered with just the RedTail mobile app. I know there are similar ideas out there but with the new mobile app update I wanted to iterate how knowing our client…

  7. Automatically Link Contacts with their Company

    When you search for a company and then click on it, you should be able to automatically see the people associated with that company, without having to manually add them in the department fields, which doesn't search for existing contacts to add. When you add a contact and their Company Information, they should automatically be associated with that Business. When you search for a company in the search box, the list should include those contacts associated with the company. (FYI - per a response in a closed posting. Using the Advanced search feature to do this is not an acceptable…

  8. Add wording for "Primary" and "Secondary" advisor or make "Servicing" and "Writing Advisor" editable.

    We have used the terminology of "Primary" and "Secondary" Advisor for our clients. To keep it consistent with what we have done, we would like to be able to edit the current system.

    Also, we would like to be able to add another role called "Relationship" advisor.

  10. Moving Driver's License under Contact Details

    Make it so that the Drivers License Information is stored under Contact Details with their Social Security Number. During Tax Season this would be a big help so we can at a glance see if we need to update their information

  11. Retriever - Multiple Syncing Destinations

    Create the ability to sync different Quicklists to more than one destination folder in Outlook. For example, I would like to keep prospective client contacts separate from my active client contacts in both RedTail and Outlook. As of right now, I am only allowed to choose a single folder for contacts to sync into, no matter how many different Quicklists I have.

  12. Add "Estate" as a Contact Type

    Hi, we get a good number of estate accounts. I've resorted to labeling the contact type for these accounts as Trusts, however that is not very accurate. Could Estate be added as a Contact Type? Thank you.

  13. user mail merge

    In ACT!, users were tied to their own Redtail contact records, and the user data drove mail merges etc. It would be great if I could launch a mail merge template and Redtail would KNOW that I (the user) am going to sign it, so it would pre-populate my name and title based on my contact record. This was how ACT! did it.

  14. Riskalyze on frist page of contact record

    Is is possible to move the client's risk number to the main contact page? For those of us that pay for this product, it would be nice to not have it burried in "accounts", the burried in the riskalyze logo. If you are going to have an integration with Riskalyze, and a tight one as it appears from all the joint webinars, this should be a feature that should be front and center in a location advisors can use. No one goes to page 2 of a google search, this should be no different

  15. Text multiple contacts on a group client text through SPEAK

    to be able to send a text through SPEAK to 2 clients at one time. i.e. a husband and wife.

  16. Email Templates by Roles/Folders

    It would be nice to send email templates that are broken up into different folders ie., Sales Folder, Customer Service Folder, Operations Folder.

    This way each role could find their email templates much easier rather than having to view every single email template in the system.

  17. customize contact field

    Would like to be able to have custom field in client record. I would like to be able to search and run reports based upon this field. i.e how often client wants communication. If monthly, be able to run a monthly report of upcoming phone calls and monthly call of monthly meetings.

  18. Head of household contact info should auto populate to living spouse record

    When a head of household dies, the living spouse becomes head of household. When I make that switch, none of the contact information carry's over to the new head of household record, so I have to re-enter. should this not be automatic?

  19. Link a contact to Multiple Folders in Imaging

    Currently we can only link a contact to one folder in imaging. It would be helpful to allow 2 or more folders for clients who have both personal and group retirement plan accounts.

    Example of my Imaging Library:

    -Client 1
    -Client 2
    -Client 3
    -ABC Corp 401(k)
    *Participant A
    *Participant B
    *Client 2

    Because Client 2 is already linked to their "personal folder" I can't link them to their own sub-folder within the 401(k) plan. When viewing in the CRM, I won't see these documents unless I remember to manually search for them.
