  1. Activity Push Notification

    It would be great to receive a notification on my phone (either via the app or from the database itself) 15 -30 minutes (customization option) before an activity.

  2. Notify Team Default

    Create a way to set activities to default notify a specific team vs always having to choose a team to notify when updating or completing the activity.

  3. email notification

    Notifications received via email provide a summary but no way to click a link in the email and go directly to the Note/Task/Contact record. It would save lots of time if you can hyperlink the Note/Task/Contact record. Currently you would have to view the email notification, log into Redtail, click around to search the contact/task before you can see the details or make any edits

  4. Notification Options - ability to select by activity type

    It would be great if we could have the ability to identify which types of activities we would like to be notified for (i.e. Appointments only, Tasks and Appointments, etc) instead of just a blanket Yes/No for all Activity Types.

  5. If we are going to get any use out of the birthday feature, we need to get a notification of a birthday one week in advance to send a card.

    What I want to see is an email notification about a current client's birthday 7-10 days in advance so I can send a card in the mail.

  6. Add a tagging feature, "@Advisor" for activities

    Add a tagging feature, like how Instagram has a tagging feature in comments to notify a certain user.

    Instead of getting a bunch of notifications for an activity that the advisor creates, the advisor can set their notifications off for activities, and once the task is done, operations/clerical can notify the advisor that said task/activity is complete by simply writing in the body of text of the task "@username task is complete" or "@username activity is complete"

  7. Automatically generate tasks based upon client birthdays

    I'd like a task to be automatically generated based upon a client's birthday. It could be pre-filled with options like:

    -Phone call
    -Send card
    -Send present

    It could also be scheduled in advance, depending on user preference.

  8. mark reminders as done

    I would really like to be able to dismiss reminders once I have have handled them, instead of seeing them for 3 weeks even thought there done.

  9. show late activities in the current activities without having to sort

    Instead of late activities having to be sorted via late activities, they should show up daily with a late flag rather than for the user to have to go back and sort for late. Nothing will fall through the cracks that way.

  10. For Notes - Notify "Servicing Advisor"

    When putting in notes, instead of having to find who the servicing advisor is first. It would be nice to have an option of "notify servicing advisor".

  11. Notify user/team functionality in the Redtail App

    It would be great if, in the app, when you completed a note, and added it to the client's record, that you had the option to notify a user/team of the new note being added, similar to how you can do it after entering a note in the actual CRM.

  12. Linked Contact at TOP of notification.

    The linked contact is currently at the bottom of the page- Since the information in the description requires context of " who are we talking about" I think the linked contact ( and maybe the "updated by" would be better positioned at the TOP of the notification.

    I get 25-50 of these each day - I'd like to know the client's name FIRST.

    I would love to have an audible notification when I am assigned an activity. If I am working at my desk, but not in email or Redtail, I would like to have an immediate way of knowing when I have been assigned an activity. An audible dingle of some sort would be most helpful. Thank you!

    on mobile devices, having an alarm/notification ahead of scheduled items would be very useful!

  15. E-mail Notifications

    When we have a meeting or appointment coming up, we should be able to receive an e-mail notification or a notification on our phones about it coming up (in 15, 30, 60 min, etc.). We are not always near our computers in the office and this would be very helpful for reminders.

  16. Make Description Available for Guests Added to Tasks (when an email notification is sent)

    Let the description of a task be emailed to guests added on the task as we don't input sensitive material into tasks, we just track progress. Or lease make it option for people that aren't posting sensitive material in their tasks to be more efficient

  17. Notification from the workflow to our customers via e-mail

    We would like that the workflow could send e-mails to our customers, when one of the steps is completed, in that way they would have more information and a better service

  18. Include activity category in email notification of assigned activity

    I would like to be able to see the activity 'category' in the email notification of an assigned activity. We are using that to identify the type of account being requested for processing and would like to see it within the email rather than having to click into the activity to see what type of request it is. For example, we may select "New Account Processing" as the activity type, and then select "Brokerage Account" from the category menu, but we will only see "New Account Processing" in the email; not "Brokerage Account".

  20. Daily Update E-mail

    It would be helpful to see all of the changes made for clients the advisor is assigned to throughout the day in a summary format rather than just getting multiple automatic e-mails when an address or other piece of information is changed.
