  1. Additional Automation Criteria

    It would be create to have an Automation that would allow to send a follow-up activity/email based on Activity Status. For example, in my case if a "review meeting" activity is completed it would automatically send a activity to my boss to complete his post meeting summary.

  3. Automation Condition - Activity Attendee

    I would like to screen automations by the Attendees on an Activity. For certain activity types, I'd like to receive an email when I am an attendee on the activity. For other activity types, I'd like to receive an email when certain other people are attendees.

    This would be made possible by adding Attendee to the list of available conditions on the automation template.

  4. Add "Create Activity from Template" to automation actions

    Add "Create Activity from Template" as an action type in Automation Action under "Do this action" tab. Right now you can only do it for workflow templates. It would be great to be able to automate the creation of activities that don't require a whole workflow to manage.

  5. Automation - Seminar Attendee Status Change Initiate Broadcast Email Template to Attendee

    It would be really helpful to be able to set up an automation to send out a Broadcast Email template to a seminar attendee when their attendee status is changed to a specific status. For example, I John Doe is going to attend our event, I would like to be able to update his seminar attendee status and have that initiate a broadcast email template to be sent to him confirming his RSVP, etc...

  6. Zapier - Capturing Contact Information

    The API between Zapier and Redtail does NOT allow the email address and phone number of the contact to be captured in Redtail ONLY the name, source and category. At one point, I recall that this functionality was available. This will help reduce manuel input.

  7. Automation Create & Assign Workflow

    I would like to be able to have the automation create a workflow and assign it to the person who triggered the automation.

    For instance, Person A in the office adds a New Contact with the Status set to Prospect. We have a workflow for the steps that need to be done immediately when there is a new prospect. I would like to be able to create the workflow AND assign the workflow to Person A.

  8. Condition Item - Assigned To

    I would like to be automatically notified when specific activity types are assigned to certain individuals on our team. An automation that has Assigned To as a Condition Item would facilitate this.

    Client Review Automation

    It would be very helpful if we can add an automation to create an activity to schedule a meeting/call 2 weeks before a client review date. It would also be helpful to automatically create a workflow for follow up tasks

  10. eMoney Integration for Trust or Business accounts

    Our firm would like to suggest that Redtail consider an upgrade so that eMoney for non-personal/Business and Trust accounts are able to be part of the integration process.

  12. Yellow Bar Indicating Activity Linked to Workflow via Automation

    Hello,
    Over the last few weeks I noticed something new.There is a yellow bar notification stating:

    "This Activity is linked to Processing for Managed Money Account via an Automation."

    I love this feature - it makes things so much easier on working between the activity and "linked" workflow.

    Is there a way you could make this work both ways? On the workflow that was created using an automation, could you create a yellow bar at the top that similarly indicates "This workflow is linked to Activity name of activity via an automation"

  13. Automation after a new type of activity is created

    I have several advisors in the office and would like to trigger certain workflows when a specific type of activity is created but for a specific advisor. For example, If an advisors assistant creates an activity for a specific client and add the advisor as an attendee then it should add the workflow. I don't want the work flow to be added if its for a different advisor. It would have to be another option under "If All Conditions True" section. Right now I only have the option for activity settings not attendee settings or really any other options.

  15. UDF automations

    Please provide more automation triggers, the easiest would be that there should be an automation trigger for any field change creating an activity task. Particularly for UDFs - if users have UDFs, that means they are important fields, yet I can't automate anything from them.

  16. Client info update Automations - specify what the update was

    We have an automation linking to workflow when you update a clients email, phone #, or address so we can then update them in all other systems.

    When the workflow begins, we have no way of knowing WHAT the update was that occurred if someone else in the office made the change. It links the client, but it'd be helpful if the "workflow assigned" email showed the prior value, and what it was changed to.

  17. import contacts automation template

    Automation templates that are triggered by "Contact Added" only work when the contact is added manually. When contacts are imported via spreadsheet, it should also be able to trigger the automation.

  18. Allow an automation to begin on a date and not an activity or change

    I am creating an automation right now that I want to begin a workflow at the beginning of the 12th month annually. I wish an automation trigger event could be a date and not specifically a change in a client, activity, etc. I think creating this addition would allow for better annual productivity and, overall, could be helpful in many ways.

  19. automation trigger when outlook creates an activity to the calendar.

    When an appointment is created on the Outlook calendar then created on the Redtail calendar via tailwag, an automation trigger can be created to add a workflow

  20. On the automation Templates would like to see the Category added. So that an activity will be automatically generated from type of category

    Automate by category- Can we put in an automatic activity that will auto generate on a clients account by what category they are in? Like AAA , AA, A, B, C or Deceased. So once a clients category is changed it should automatically set up the auto activities for that client. Also when we change client category to closed/deceased could an automatic activity generate to close all activities on client?
