  2. develop tag group notifications

    Develop a way for users to be notified when someone is added to a tag group. There are many forms of action taken based on these tag groups. Some of these actions are only for new ones added. It would be helpful to know when new ones are added to tag groups.

  3. Allow captured emails to be turned into an activity automatically.

    When an email comes in from a client, it would be helpful for that email to be captured as an activity that needs to be addressed. Cutting and pasting the body of the email into a newly created activity seems like extra work.

  4. Estimated Tax Information

    Estimated Tax Information is Very Nice to update and refer with clients, but is missing the most important field when it comes to income tax planning, a "Taxable Income" field because how can we tell a client by how much they are into the current marginal tax bracket or how much additional income they can earn at that bracket current tax bracket before going into a higher bracket without knowing where they are in the current bracket!!!! Without this number, we cannot give tax planning advice to our clients. PLEASE ADD THIS FIELD!!!

  5. Do not force a zero balance on closed accounts.

    When marking an account 'closed' in Redtail, it forces the balance to zero. Occasionally after closing an account, a fee may hit or dividends may appear, but Redtail does not reflect this as the balance is forced to zero. These problems remain invisible...

  6. Add a button to the Add New Beneficiariary

    When adding a new beneficiary, it would be great to add a button to 'Add More'. Currently, you can choose 'Save Beneficiary Information' or 'Cancel', but the add more button would be helpful when adding multiple beneficiaries at a time. A quick tab over would save clicks and time.

  7. For Term Life Insurnace - need to have the Face value not populate as an account balance - there should be $0.00 for account balance forTerm

    There needs to be a programming change so that I can either manually change the balance to $0.00 or offer an option for Term Life Insurance accounts so they do not populate as account balances. By showing account balances for Term Life Insurance policies the clients account look inflated.

  8. Mailing Address same as Home Address option

    It would be nice to have an option to check Same as Home Address instead of having to re-enter the same address and mark it as Mailing Address.

  9. Automatic Subsequent Activity Creation

    It would be great if I would have the option to chose an automatic subsequent activity to be automatically created for a team member once I note my assigned activity completed.

  10. AUM Historical Tracker

    Would like to have the ability to see how the AUM has grown over the years as shown in Redtail. This would be incredibly helpful as we are constantly bringing on new clients and we would really like to see our growth rate as represented in Redtail

  11. Age Based Triggers

    I would really love to see the option for triggers based on age/birthdates. As advisors, many important financial events have age based triggers: RMDs, full retirement age, age 59 1/2, etc. To have a workflow or checklist automatically assigned when a client reaches specific milestones would be hugely helpful.

  12. I would suggest you make the seminar management more capable to make changes in. For example, if someone calls to change which seminar they

    are attending, then we have to remove them from seminar tools, go to their contact page to add them to the new one, then go back to seminar tools to add their guests. It would be easier if we could select them from seminar tools and move them to another date, or add people to the seminar in seminar tools if we have several people to add.

  14. Practice Assigned Client Reference Number (Account/File Number)

    We use a Client Reference Number. This number tells us information about our client right off. We need this to be a searchable field. For Personal Clients we can use the Family Name field. But this won't work for Corporate Clients. We need this Field included for all contacts; Individual, Business, Association, Trust, & Union. This is and improvement because it already exists and is limited to individual contacts.

  15. Add "Head" of family to the dashboard/today's overview/add new activity or add new note

    if you go via:
    Dashboard, then
    Today's overview, then
    Calender, then
    Add new Activity
    or
    Add new note.
    There is NOT a head of family symbol.

  16. Add a Client Accounts/Transfers/Distributions Tracking Section

    It would be helpful to have a section where we could track client accounts/transfers/change of broker dealer in one section in Redtail. Currently, we use a notebook and a printed spreadsheet to do this. While this works well at the office, it would be more convenient for our staff to all see the process and status from the office or another location. We have a column for when the paperwork was mailed or faxed, regular mail or overnight, the company name, client name (and account if applicable), transaction type, a notes section where we can add notes, and then pending…

  17. Include account numbers in Activities Reports.

    As it stands now, the activity report does not include the account number that the activity is assigned to. If you are using the report in the CRM you can click through to the account, but if you export the report to a PDF and print it you have no way to know what account an activity is assigned, making it easier to work off of a printed report.

  18. Add "Select All" option under Managing Database Users & Teams

    When adding a person, it would be helpful to have a "Select All" option, especially in administrative instances where one person is being added to every team. (The same would be helpful in deleting a name.) Currently, this task is done one team at a time. Second suggestion regarding teams: your place is not saved once you add a person, so you have to scroll back down to find where you left. It would be helpful to be at the same point once you've added a name. Thank you.

  20. Add specific date to the 'Strategic Allocation Model: experience - mutual funds, stocks, etc' sections under 'Know your Client'

    By adding the last date this information was updated, it will help advisors review this information with their clients in a timely manner.
