  1. Add a Client Accounts/Transfers/Distributions Tracking Section

    It would be helpful to have a section where we could track client accounts/transfers/change of broker dealer in one section in Redtail. Currently, we use a notebook and a printed spreadsheet to do this. While this works well at the office, it would be more convenient for our staff to all see the process and status from the office or another location. We have a column for when the paperwork was mailed or faxed, regular mail or overnight, the company name, client name (and account if applicable), transaction type, a notes section where we can add notes, and then pending…

  2. Include account numbers in Activities Reports.

    As it stands now, the activity report does not include the account number that the activity is assigned to. If you are using the report in the CRM you can click through to the account, but if you export the report to a PDF and print it you have no way to know what account an activity is assigned, making it easier to work off of a printed report.

  3. Add "Select All" option under Managing Database Users & Teams

    When adding a person, it would be helpful to have a "Select All" option, especially in administrative instances where one person is being added to every team. (The same would be helpful in deleting a name.) Currently, this task is done one team at a time. Second suggestion regarding teams: your place is not saved once you add a person, so you have to scroll back down to find where you left. It would be helpful to be at the same point once you've added a name. Thank you.

  5. Add specific date to the 'Strategic Allocation Model: experience - mutual funds, stocks, etc' sections under 'Know your Client'

    By adding the last date this information was updated, it will help advisors review this information with their clients in a timely manner.

  6. Create a spot on the client contact screen to blotter checks received.

    It would be handy for compliance purposes and commission reconciliation to have a report of checks received per month/per advisor.

  7. create a quicklist by activity type

    it would be nice to create a quicklist and screen by activity type, so it is not required to create a new custom export everytime I would like to view a screen by activity type

  8. Add Additional Fields to the Client Review Section

    The Client Review section is lacking. For compliance purposes, advisers need to track when the contact the clients for meetings. Please add the following fields in the Client Review Section:
    1. Date Last Met
    2. Date Last Contacted
    3. Preferred Meeting Place
    4. Preferred Contact Method

  9. Can we add the Agent IDs for various annuity companies

    Also add the "Company" and "Agent State Insurance ID numbers.

  10. Add Linked Contact when Creating Opportunity

    When I add a new opportunity, I'd like to be able to link to a contact while I'm entering the information, not after when I have to right click and "view related contacts". I realize you can link more than one contact to an opportunity but when I'm initially entering the opportunity, there should be a contact field so I can link it to the primary contact right there. It's an extra step to link after entering the opportunity

  11. Know your client

    In the Know your client section, aside from Important Info, it would be nice if there is a section under Misc. Personal Information to be able to enter text data (free form) about a client or without having to choose from a picklist.

  13. add a feature to e-mail team users ( currently you can modify or delete the team but cannot message the team)

    We have different teams in our organization:
    HR/ Investment/ Insurance/ Compliance , etc. I want the ability to go to team users - click on that team and send a broadcast e-mail, instead of having to create tag groups for teams that already exist for team notification purposes. thanks1

  14. When we have to generate the same workflow for a client, is there anyway to add a description line so we can tell what one it is?

    We have a workflow called Client Check or ACH request. There are times where in a given day, we have to choose this same workflow multiple times for the same client. Is there anyway to keep renaming it as we generate the same workflow or add a description line in it so it will distinguish what check it is for?

  15. provide a place for us to put our company name, contact info, logo, and/or tagline on reports.

    To provide ongoing client awareness of the services firm with whom they are working and easy access to contact the advisors, it would be very helpful, and also would look great, if we could put our company information/logo on reports. Thank you.

  16. client temperature

    Add a "client temperature gauge" where you can record a client's temperature after a call, meeting, etc.

  17. Rescheduling activities

    On the calendar, would like to be able to drag an activity to a future month. Currently am unable to do that and must open each individual activity.

  18. have a more robust Account Riders field.

    I have to manually track optional riders on life insurance policies that must be removed at a specific future date. Currently I have to manually create a hand written report to track it for over 150 policies. I REALLY need to be able to include how many years the rider is to stay in force for each policy, when the last payment date of the rider is and when the rider is scheduled to be removed. All of this has to be pulled together in a custom report. PLEASE. THANK YOU!

  19. Allow more than one email to be preferred

    Right now you can only have one email address to be the preferred one. What if our clients have several? We would like to have the option to make more than one email preferred.

  20. In dashboard view, would it be possible to highlight the contact name?

    In a high task volume environment, dashboard gets content heavy. searching for a task is nearly always client directed and being able to scan client names would be helpful in finding a particular task to work on or respond to a need to address a task or report an outcome of a task that rose from a to-do to an urgent to-do.
