  1. Add Ability to Link Folder to Multiple Contacts

    When linking Retriever/Imaging folders to CRM Contacts, currently only have ability to link a single Contact at a time. If folder is for accounts with multiple holders (Joint, Trust, Entity, UTMA, etc), the folder must be linked to each Contact in separate steps. It would be more efficient if we had the option to link the folder to additional contacts in a single step.

  2. email journaling

    Our former CRM system Wealthbox allowed us to seamlessly journal emails from microsoft office once they connected. How come Redtail cant? Why is it so difficult to connect microsoft office? We would gladly pay to have it easier.

  3. add memo feature

    When entering a new contact record or updating a contact record, it would be nice to see a memo feature added. For instance, in the phone numbers section. There maybe different departments within a company/vendor. Nice to document which number will get you to which department.

  4. Surnames - paternal AND maternal

    Please add a MATERNAL Surname Field for those who have to use a hyphen to show that they don't have middle names.

  5. Imaging Permissions

    In Imaging, adding the ability to set permissions or restrictions on libraries, limiting who can view what library. We are an OSJ branch that has a few different users of our imaging capability. Unfortunately, we have no way to limit which user can view all of the imaging files. Everyone can see everything since there are no permissions in place.

  6. Add "Type" drop down to Note Entries as a selectable option

    Add the "Type" drop down to Note entries, similar to the Category drop down. By adding Type, your note entries can be aligned with the Activity Type.

    We would love to be able to create a "view-only" user ID for certain users to be able to only view the contacts and not add/make changes to any.

  8. Client Favorites

    Please allow client favorites to be shared accross users. We are trying to find an easy way idintfy top clients. We could either use the favorites and make then sharable across users, or maybe allow cient names to be highlighted when you search them.

  9. Keyword List Report just like Tag Group List

    When running report for Keywords, we only get report that shows individual contacts and their keywords. I want to see a report that shows the list of each keyword and how many contacts are associated with that keyword, just like the Tag Group List which shows the list of Tag Groups and the number of tagged contacts within each. This would help because we have over 100 keywords and we want to know how many contacts are in each keyword.

  10. Project Tailwag Release Notes - Please make this Page Searchable

    Please make the Project Tailwag Release Notes Page SEARCHABLE.

    This is the page we are directed to from RedTail Emails that inform us when our Feedback Status has been updated to completed: https://help.redtailtechnology.com/hc/en-us/articles/204037074

    Sometimes I am not able to look at these emails right away. But when I get to them, this link is so generalized that I cannot find the details on my feature suggestion which has been approved...

    Please either make this page searchable, OR provide a direct link in your emails which will bring users to the details released for that specific feature improvement.

  11. Allow Contacts Side Nav Bar / Menu to be Customizable

    It would be great to be able to customize the left menu bar on the Contact's page so we can put the items we use the most at the top and not have to click "more".

    Please add functionality to allow a users to customize the left menu bar on our Contacts' pages. Many functions which are useful to our team are located below the "More..." selection, which (annoyingly) auto-collapes on each subsequent click.

    We understand that different Nav links will be of more importance to different firms...Which is why we would like RedTail to make this section customizable for…

  12. Hide All Day Events Calendar Preference Should be able to be LOCKED ON / OFF

    With so many all day events, the calendar gets lost. We do already have the OPTION to Select "Hide All Day Events". HOWEVER, this Choice Does Not Stick!

    Users Must REselect the "hide all day events" preference EVERY time you open the calendar throughout the day, OR After Any Activity is Added to the calendar / EVERY SINGLE TIME THE PAGE RELOADS.

    It is not that difficult to do but it is incredibly annoying - I would prefer to do it once and never do it again (rather than 10-20 times per day).

    Please Allow Users to LOCK the Hide…

    Include account type when linking the account number to an activity. For example, we don't know if the account is an IRA, Roth, etc. Please add in Redtail.

    In the accounts page, add a line for surrender period end date. This will allow us to track when an annuity is outside its surrender period.

    Would love for the Know Your Client and UDFs to be on the Confidential Personal Profile. This would be beneficial for client meetings to update information.

  17. App/Connector for Microsoft Teams

    An app or connector for Microsoft Teams. We use Teams for our phone system. Would be nice it would automatically look up client and pull the record up in teams. Also just having access to contacts in Teams app would be very convenient.

  18. Quick Filter for Search Bar

    Have a toggle beside the Search Bar that you can filter for Active Clients only. More often than not, I am searching for an Active Client and my search list is cluttered with deceased clients, inactive clients, and/or prospects.

    When I click on the contact card, open a screen that looks exactly like the original screen I entered data in when I was first adding a contact. I am forever trying to track down all of those fields!
