Save Activity Drop Down Option - Save & Print
It would be super handy to be able to save an Activity and immediately print it off. The current method requires us to Save an event, then open it back up, in order to be able to print notes we've entered into the Description section. I enter agenda's for each meeting and always have to save before printing. This would save me so much time.

A way to set business hours, so activity update notifications via Notify Team only come through by email during that time frame.
I work after-hours, and update numerous activities at night or evening time. I would love if there was a way for users to set their own business hours in Redtail (not from their email), so I can use the Notify Team feature as I go without bothering them.
(My current workaround is to mark the activity title with a symbol, then the next morning, go back into each task I updated, and select Notify Team, then save it again so they're notified.)
The suggestion would be to implement a way to delay the activity notifications so they are not sent…

Call log integration into Activities or Notes
Integrate way to log calls from existing Contacts into Activities or Notes section. Prefer to keep it display separately from Notes to not clutter Contact's profile.

Priority List is 1-6

Activity duration field choices
The default Activity duration under 'Preferences' is limited to choices of 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minute. Can you please add 45 minutes and 90 minutes to this list? thank you.

Customizing Activity Detail Fields
o Can we create a customized Activity report by owner, by date and viewing other’s activities?
o Similarly, is there a way to see all completed activities for multiple users and contacts in a given time period?

Add feature to upload files through the mobile RedTail
When using RedTail mobile I have been unable to upload files into activities. This would be a nice feature to have when working on a trip or when not having a computer available.

Redtail Notification
Add a URL link to the Redtail record in the notification email. This will allow the user to click on the link and go into the record that the activity is for.

Activity template permissions
I want to be able to pick permissions for activity templates. We are trying to keep each advisor's business separate and only with permissions in activities can that be done fully (so no one unauthorized can edit it, which is what we really want). I thought if we had them use templates they wouldn't have to remember to do that each time but that isn't an option I see. Please add!

Activity Report Export - Add columns for user that completed and completion timestamp
an activity can be assigned to multiple users but firms what to know/report who actually completed (i.e. user that completes the task). Please include the date/time activity was completed.

Program a 'Tomorrow Button.'
Just as there is a Today button in RedTail, there should be a Tomorrow button. If you press it it would give you a screen that displays just like the Today screen but with tomorrow's activities. I understand there are a number of ways to find out what is coming up tomorrow, but if you programmed it, it would be a great convenience for your users. I know I look to see what is coming up tomorrow every day. If I could see that info with one click I would greatly appreciate it.

Clone an activity after it is completed
It would be nice to clone an activity after it has been completed without having to uncomplete, clone, then remember to go back and complete the original activity.

Activity task and category autofill when typing
When creating an activity the "type" and "category" fields should autofill as you type versus scrolling through the drop down. It currently only recognizes the first character. It would be extremely helpful if I could continue typing a word in the field and it filters through my list and narrows down to those characters typed.

On the activities page, I'd like to be able to edit/adjust the columns to the table. Like adding Service/writing advisor
On the activities page, I'd like to be able to edit/adjust the columns to the table. Such as adding Service/writing advisor or a phone number. Something similar to what you have in contacts search with the grid and unchecking a column name to condense the table.
Our team, for instance, doesn't use "location" much. But "Assigned to" is useful. Being able to choose what we find to be the most useful information there would be great.21 votes -
Activities - Linking Spouse/Significant other
It would be great to have the ability for an activity assigned to a secondary record within a family automatically connect to a primary record. I typically view a record from the primary record and sometimes forget to look at outstanding actions assigned to the other. Basically, have open activities at the family level as an option.

Allow user to set up a default for any activity "attendees" to be three people, or a team rather than just that one user.
Saves time and remembering to drop down and add attendees for every activity set up by all Redtail users. Better notification process fro both activity actions and addition of new Notes for a contact.

Add: "All Past & Future" to Activities Filter
I set long term activities and it would be great to not have to build a "Custom Range" filtered activity in order to see all activities that exceed 12 Months.

Activities filter dates-
Activities Filter dates- Would like a default option for open/completed activities filter dates to lock for the user's preferred time period. This option would be accessible in the Preference area like it is listed under Activity Management, so it would only change if selected by the user to switch from default.
