Under Activities, Displaying Both names rather than "2 Users" .
We have numerous couples that are clients. When assigning activities, I must do a 2-step process in order to get them both on the activity. Once both clients names are on the activity, the activities section shows "2 users" linked to the activity rather than both names forcing me to do ANOTHER step in order to view who the activities belongs to. Can we please change the "2-users" to display the actual names of both contacts tied to the activity as well as the "assigned" users to display the agents working on the activity.

Linked Accounts for Activity customizable information
When viewing the linked accounts to an activity, you can currently only view the account number and the Company name.
For an RIA who maintains one custodian relationship, seeing the company name is quite useless.
It would be helpful to change this in our preferences so we could see the Account Number and Registration or, if not the Registration, then the Account Number and Account Type.16 votes -
Extend Future activities view to 12 months for a client
Having the activities button say Past due and next 12 months would be wonderful. It would be very helpful to see what the future activities scheduled for a particular client are with the click of a button. The button there works fine, but it's not long enough. If I have something scheduled 6 months out and I wanna know what that is....or even know that it exists frankly, it's hard to get too.

Allow activities to automatically roll forward every day
We just transitioned from ACT. In ACT all activities that were not completed during the day automatically rolled forward to the following day. There was no need to check for incomplete activities in ACT. It would be very helpful to incorporate this feature into RedTail.

be able to set display preferences to show the date of an activity, not the day of the week for activities that are within the next 7 days
On the dashboard, when I click on the 'activities' tab, and set it for open activities - past due and xx time into the future, i don't want to see "Thursday" "Friday", etc on activities that are in the next 7 days. I want to see the exact date, even if it's tomorrow. Can this be a preference that I can set for my dashboard display?

Add account number field when creating an activity
We always have to click "create & edit" to add account numbers to a task. It would make it a lot quicker if we could just have an account number drop down field in creating a task so we can just click "create activity".

Add/Remove Activity Attendees in Bulk
Currently, users can only Reassign attendees, which has the effect of removing ALL current attendees.
Users need a way to add/remove particular attendees from activities in Bulk, similar to how Permissions works.
This will help with users who are being disabled, and their activities to be a reassigned to another person, without replacing any other attendees on those said activities.

Allow us to remove the category Customer Serice. We use Client Service.
Please allow us to delete the Catagory titled Customer Service. Industry wide, we call our clients, "Clients," not Custmers. The Customer Service category is hard wired wtih RT and cant be removed. It just adds another Category that causes confusion and shouldn't be used.

Detailed Activity Template
For Activity Templates we should be able to select from the "advanced" or "detailed" options. For example, with a specific type of activity template I may want to notify a person or specific team without adding them as an attendee. I don't see any way to do this right now so our activity templates just "add" everyone who should really only be notified.

Client tasks/Activities
We have run into a problem of trying to keep track of what exactly is pending from the client. For example, client says they will provide us with a copy of he/her 401k statement. After following-up a few times, it is left in the client's hands to get that to us without leaving an activity on someone's list. But when we meet with the client again, it is tedious to recall what all was outstanding with the client. Especially if it is several pieces the client has just randomly provided. Template required fields
Required fields for template: would be great if we could customize certain templates to enable certain fields to be populated for saving/creating a task. I.E. for Trading template tasks, that we could require the location field to be required (as that is where we input client account numbers). So that a task would have to be populated with certain information to be saved (but only for certain templates)

Icon to show another user is in the same activity as you
We have an issue where two or more users are in the same activity at times (unaware someone else is in there as well) and because of this, notes that we type in are not saved. Can you show an icon or box or something to show that there is another user in the activity at that time? I know it would be difficult to save both user's notes or show real-time updates without saving, so an icon or notification would be great!

Phone Icon
When scheduling a conference call with a client, it would be nice to be able to see a small icon phone receiver next to the scheduled appointment so we can differentiate between a conference call and an in-house meeting with the client. Thanks.

Add custom export for appointment times
If we could access either a mail merge field or a custom export for upcoming appointment times, that would be great for setting up and notifying clients of upcoming appointments.

We need to be able to view completed Activity notes
Someone decided to make notes shorter and now we cannot see the notes added to Activities.....terrible when trying to scan through notes to find an issued

Allow us to add more than one contact when scheduling an activity.
Don't limit the number of people you can link to an activity when initially setting up the activity. It's very inefficient to have to go into the activity to add spouses to review appointments.

group all day activities by color
Group All Day Activities by COLOR assigned to them. I have created "Calls" to be yellow, "Email follow up" to be green, "Blue" for financial planning. I like to time block my time and do all emails at one time, all calls at another, etc. would be nice to be able to have all of my all day activities showing up next to the same color vs. scattered randomly

Add Zoom, Webex as activity option
Why can't ZOOM or Webex be a selection when booking time with a client? (Closest I see now is "phone call") Thanks!
