Allow activities to automatically roll forward every day
We just transitioned from ACT. In ACT all activities that were not completed during the day automatically rolled forward to the following day. There was no need to check for incomplete activities in ACT. It would be very helpful to incorporate this feature into RedTail.

Perhaps we can add a “completed by” line to reflect on the details box? this would be helpful for shared users to know who created and who completes the task rather than digging way down in the time line .

I would prefer to see it on the front without having to dig too deep.
Like when you look at the notes section of a contact. It shows completed activities, start date and complete date but not who completed the task.

Allow us to add more than one contact when scheduling an activity.
Don't limit the number of people you can link to an activity when initially setting up the activity. It's very inefficient to have to go into the activity to add spouses to review appointments.

Viewing Account # on Activities Dashboard
When viewing the list of open activities it would be EXTREMELY useful if the linked account to the activity would show. Personally, the location feature is not useful to my firm. Either in place or besides that would be very convenient.
As of now, the only way to view the account linked to the activity is by clicking on the activity and opening it.

Under Activities, Displaying Both names rather than "2 Users" .
We have numerous couples that are clients. When assigning activities, I must do a 2-step process in order to get them both on the activity. Once both clients names are on the activity, the activities section shows "2 users" linked to the activity rather than both names forcing me to do ANOTHER step in order to view who the activities belongs to. Can we please change the "2-users" to display the actual names of both contacts tied to the activity as well as the "assigned" users to display the agents working on the activity.

Linked Accounts for Activity customizable information
When viewing the linked accounts to an activity, you can currently only view the account number and the Company name.
For an RIA who maintains one custodian relationship, seeing the company name is quite useless.
It would be helpful to change this in our preferences so we could see the Account Number and Registration or, if not the Registration, then the Account Number and Account Type.16 votes -
move completed activities from one spouse to another
When a client passes away, it's our practice to move all of the completed activities to the surviving spouse, if the the deceased client was head of household. I'm currently in the process of doing this and there are 90+ activities to uncomplete and move. It would be nice to select all of the activities, open and completed, and move them over.

Reoccurring activity to occur on the first business day of the month, etc
I would like a way to have a reoccurring activity to happen on the first business day of the month, quarter, etc.

Add a working "Radio" Button that can be inserted and checked in Task and Note templates
We need the ability to add tasks that can be "checked" with a working Radio Button within the Description area of a task or note. The ability to have tasks that are pre-populated in a template with a working "Radio" button that can be simply checked off would be great! Template tasks could be built to work like mini workflows for everyday tasks allowing the user to simply check the radio button to show completion of each task in the Activity or Note. It would be most helpful if a newly assigned activity be marked as new and stay that way until it is opened for the first time by the user it is assigned to, much like an unopened email. The new activity would stand out ensuring it is not missed by the user. A priceless tool when many activities fill a user’s “Things to do today” page.

add a fix to stop recurring activates from duplicating/mulitplying in outlook calendar
it would be nice to be able to have a recurring activity download to outlook calendar and my cell phone one time rather than have it multiply the activity dozens of times in outlook. this is extremely frustrating

Click and Drag Activity to a Trash can
It is cumbersome to have to open an activity then delete, when the calendar can have this feature to facilitate a smoother workflow.

Please, Please Please give us the ability to create a customizable report that we can sort by activity category and type. The data is there but you do not give us access to it.

Whole office's activities under "Things to do" on homepage/today page, not just what is assigned to me
I'd like to be able to see all activities in the office that need to be completed that day right under "Things to do" on the today page. I am the main advisor in the office and I want to be able to see what tasks need to completed for the whole office that day. Unless it is assigned to me I can only see my tasks. I need to make sure everyone is completing the tasks assigned to them and rather not have to go into the calendar to see it.

Group Task add
I want to have a group of tasks (call them "yearly tasks") that I can press a button and activate on Jan 1st.
i.e. I want to automate adding each year a task to do the E&O insurance in Feb, do the ADV in March, review this thing in April, etc. Same tasks every year.

Why can't ZOOM or Webex be a selection when booking time with a client? (Closest I see now is "phone call") Thanks!
