How can we improve Redtail Technology's CRM?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  2. PDF Mail Merge

    We have a few documents that are PDFs and not personalized but that we'd like to track delivery of. The most recent is the new CRS. It would be nice if there was an option to do a PDF upload to a client like a mail merge - easily save it as a note with creation date and time along with details. For instance, I'm talking to a client about making a change to their investments, I can click on PDF Upload instead of mail merge, choose save as a note, enter in "Discussion of using new mutula fund family…

  3. Library permissions

    Users within a database need to be able to set permissions to limit viewers for the RedTail Imaging documents as well.

  4. Redtail Imaging - Allow me to restrict access to certain folders like personnel folders.

    I don't want employees to be able to see each others personal information like compensation, SSN, etc. I want to be able to restrict access to certain files within the library. If I create a second library I can't restrict access to that either.

  5. Add item on Contact menu on Left side as "Due Diligence"

    With REG BI now in effect, we have to document all recommendations and keep our research papers and due diligence reports. It would be nice to make this process simpler by allowing a separate place like we have in the documents are in RedTail to download without having to co-mingle documents and due-diligence information in the same spot. As compliance officers will need easy access to our process, scrolling through docs and research is inefficient. Please consider as all my reps that have RedTail are looking for ideas.

  7. Please add additional document storage

    Please add Box.com or Dropbox for document storage. It's a great tool we use for client to send information and send back

    Could there be a field added to show who uploaded the document? Like a timestamp but with the user's name.

  10. You should be able to make the CRM Document Storage DEFAULT to sort by date added rather than having to sort every time you go in.

  11. ability to sort, save & attach docs to Document page & Workflows at various stages of completion

    We need a way to save files and track files at various stages of completion within Redtail.

    *Original Docs - blank docs, per document/form required to create one complete application package
    *Unsigned Docs - client details filled out, per document/form required to create one complete application package
    *Client-Signed Docs - client-signed version of full application package or per document showing signatures, initials, and any corrections made by client to application content

  12. Documents- Make them Searchable using Keywords

    It would be very helpful if Documents were searchable by keywords or phrases. As documents are added over time, this area of RT become unruly and takes precious time to locate what you're looking for.

  14. Data Entry when Adding Documents

    When uploading you just have the option to upload the document and then go back and change everything. Any way it can be changed so that all of the information on the document is stored when you upload it.
