  1. - Quicklists to sort by Seminar Attendee Status

    Be able to include seminar attendee status in a quick list and/or tag group search.

    For example, we like to send out broadcast emails severel times before a seminar/webinar but we don't want to send that same invite to someone who has already signed up to attend the seminar. We have no way to exclude those individuals in the next broadcast email w/o a lot of manual work.

  2. it would be nice for the house icon to pop up next to client's name in Search Box, so we know where to find the detailed Notes.

    When a client's name is typed into the Search Box, it would be nice if the house icon would pop up, so we know where to find the detailed Notes.
    Rather than pulling up all the clients with that last name and having to look for the house icon.

  3. Enhance the capabilities of the "Like" operand for Advanced Searches.

    Currently the 'Like' operand is intended to be used with 'Values' that are being typed in, not selected from a drop-down menu. So it doesn't pull any results when selecting from a drop-down "Value" menu. Many offices use a number of values containing the same words. So, currently we're required to use the "Equal To" operand which makes for excessively long entries for search criteria with several different levels. "Like" worked with drop-down "value" menu options in previous versions of Redtail, so this should be revisited to save us all some valuable time when setting up Quicklists and other searches.

  4. Ability to merge Tag Groups

    It would be nice to merge existing Tag Groups together. Sometimes the name is slightly different (made by two people) but used for the same thing. For clean up, it would be nice to have a merge function.

  5. Clients Since Subject

    When conducting an advanced search with the specific variables, there should be a column option that displays client since. This information is great to have when conducting advanced searches.

  6. keyword search

    I saw that the dropdown of keywords in Advanced Searches was added per another user's request. I think this is great and helpful, but it has limited some other features that I used to use a lot.

    I do miss when we used to be able to type in partial Keywords for searches. We use keywords very heavily and have prefixes that we use to categorize them. If I had the ability again to run searches for Contact Keyword - Keyword - Does Not Contain - RS, for example, I could quickly identify our clients who are not currently set…

  7. Advanced Search letter choice

    Within Advanced Search, it'd be super helpful to have an option of typing in a letter the search would jump to within your list, rather than needing to scroll through names to get back to where you were. Some lists are hundreds if not thousands of clients long and to have to scroll to get to U, V, etc. is daunting.

  8. Customize list results views

    Add ability to customize the view resulting from search results. For example, being able to add a customized UDF column, or phone number, or next client review date, etc.

  9. Inactive clients Advanced Search

    Users should be able to search through the client database by date of last note entered, activity completed, or contact profile update so that we may sort our clients as active and inactive based on who has not been updated in an certain period of time.

  10. Search Contacts Parameters in Preferences

    The Search Contacts bar should be given the feature in preferences to search the entire database, or only certain criteria from the status field. And you should be able to select one or more status fields to search. So rather than typing in a common name and getting every one and having to scroll through them, you can set your preference to only search clients and prospects and reduce the list to scroll through.

  11. Search for contacts without shared phone numbers

    It would be much more convenient to have the ability to search for contacts that do not have a shared phone number when you search for contacts without a phone number currently contacts with shared phone numbers still display.

  12. advanced search

    In the advanced search feature, it would be nice to have a way to select multiple "values" instead of creating a new line for each value. For example, if I wanted to search for two contact categories, once I enter "Contact", "Category", "Equal To"; I would then be able to choose both of the categories I want (this would serve as an "AND" function without having to add a separate line).

  13. Get Advanced Search To Work as Intended

    I searched for contacts without a certain category and after being bewildered for a while about why the list was so short I determined the search results did not show those contacts where the category is blank. To get those I had to add in another search criteria when obviously those should have been included in my initial search. Fix this!

  18. UDF

    It would be great if we could do advanced searches by specific UDFs and then create a quick list from that search. This would be so beneficial to our firm.

  19. Broaden Search Criteria

    It would be helpful to look up clients by SSNs, account numbers and phone numbers. Some clients leave messages with no name or when linking an account to a RT profile, we are only provider the SSN or account number.

  20. Lock the tag groups so no one can delete tag groups on the shared database.

    I lost 500 contacts over 4 months of individually placing these people into tag groups just because one person deleted the tag group in my office.
