Entity as own family/household for client relationship count purposes
I want to get a number of how many households we have total but run into issues with entities. One issue that already has a suggestion is to be able to include entities in a household (so a trust can be grouped under the family that runs it). But I also want the ability to make the entity be its own household. This is so I can then run a search for all contacts that are clients and head of households so that the count of search results would then be equal to my total number of client relationships.

Divorced Couples with Children
It would be extremely helpful to be able to list minor children under both parents when the parents are divorced. As it is now, it looks as if the father does not have any children (because they are listed under the mother), when in fact he may. This creates frustration when we think we have the information we need and learn we do not.

In the family tree, the trust needs to able to be added as a bene.
In the family tree, the trust needs to be able to be added as a bene. rather than going to memberships. That field is not intuitive.

Within the family section of the relationship please add Father Mother- today many children are taking care of their parent.
Example, we have a child who is the POA for our client, the client will never call here and our only correspondence is with the POA. I want to be able to add the POA as Head of HH and add the client as a Mother in the housefhold The POA does not have an account with us so if she calls I want everyone to be able to see the correlation so they can pull up the mother's account. Without going and hunting in the membership link, which is extra steps for when someone is calling in. Thank you.…

Household/Family
It would be ideal if: the Family feature can accommodate entity names instead of just individuals or adopting a Household category as means for showing entity names (trusts/business entities etc...) in conjunction with the client relationship.

A box in the Misc Information Tab specific for children and grandchildren and their birthdates
A box in the Misc Information tab specifically to keep information about children/grandchildren and their birthdays. That would be more helpful than their height and weight and smoking section.

Household Documents
I think it would be a great idea to have household documents. This would reduce the double entry of documents under each contact.

Householding Client Groups via Head of Household
When I click on the contacts tab, I would like the option of setting it to automatically populate a list of only my head of household clients. Not vendors. Not other advisers clients. Not each individual client. ...just a household head count and contact list.

Linking Important Info to Spouse
It would be great if you could add an option/button to link Important Information to the spouse. Often times, we make sure that our Important Info is the same for the whole household, so we have to copy and paste the husbands notes to the wifes. Would be helpful if you could simply select that we want them linked to eachother.

add dependents
In the Household section, when you click the button to add a dependent... it prompts you for name and relationship. How about letting us put in the DOB and Social Security number too, optionally? Frequently, we will have that information and nothing else, for beneficiaries. Saves the step of having to then go into each profile and enter it. In a household with 4 kids, it saves several minutes.

Household names and labels
When linking a household and creating a name there is only a "Spouse"/Married label. This creates inaccurate labeling for our life partners or other significant others. Please allow us to adjust those labels at the top of the contact record rather than having conflicting information - Married at the top, partner below.

Group accounts by household
Would like the ability to run a report of "Accounts by Household".. we do a lot of multi-generational planning and it would be helpful for assessing the family unit as a whole, rather than having to flip back and forth.
The "Show family accounts" feature works, but that is only for individual contacts. We wanted to see all the accounts by household for our entire contact list. Thanks!

Adding Dependents
Is there a way to add a dependent to a clients household when the person that we would like to link is already a head of household too? When I try to add a family member it will not populate her name that is already in our data base. It makes me set up a new contact than then all her information is blank if we open it under her parentr.

Field for date of spouse's death
We often have clients whose spouse is not a client. It would be nice if we could record the date of the spouse's death in the client's record (rather than making the spouse their own record) and have the option for a reminder on the anniversary (like birthdays and marriage anniversaries).

add beneficiary info to family
Add the ability to add Beneficiaries under the "Family". Currently you can "Add Spouse" or "Add Dependent", we need another entry to "Add Beneficiary". I realize that there are other ways to do this i.e. "Memberships", but by putting the info here, it would flow to programs like Laser App.

Add age or birthdate on family page
Please add the age or birthdate with the dependent's name on the family page. That would allow us to see the ages of all the kids without clicking on each child.

Family/Membership Custom Option
Currently the system only gives an option to add dependents. Dependents would be classified as people living in the home. There needs to be an option for people linked to them to show up on this page as well. Currently our beneficiaries have their own profiles and we have to for into memberships to find out their connection. Maybe a customizable family section where one could create their own connection the the contact it is being added too. This would be a HUGE benefit to me. Thank you for considering this!
