    When creating a Household/Family name it requires "and" instead of "&". I feel like this started somewhat suddenly a year or so ago. If I forget then when I run reports it comes out as "&"

  2. Add a field

    Due to our aging client base and unmarried clients, we would like to suggest adding a field in the Client Profile under Family to not only include spouse, dependent and other ... but to include brother & sister. Thanks kindly for this consideration!

  3. Dependent Types Add customization for them

    in the family's section. for Dependent Types Add customization for them i.e. Pet to the options current list child, grandchild, other would like to add our own custom types

  4. Add section for Original Depositor Information

    I don't want to create a new contact, but the DOB, DOD, and SS# for the original depositor of a person's beneficiary IRA is good information to have on hand.

  5. Deceased Client with no Family except a Sister or Brother - How to Link them together

    When a client passes away, and there is no spouse or children, but they have a brother or sister. We create a contact for them, but how can we link them together like we do husband and wife? and not have it say Married to when they are family member. Is this possible.

  6. Family descriptions/relationships box on Redtail page

    I would love to see a separate (box?) area on the contact's page being able to list family/relationships at a glance. We don't always have last names and therefore cannot create contacts; but it would be so nice to be able to view, at a quick glance, our client's grandchildren, ages, etc.

  7. More inputs under the "Add Family Member" field...

    I love the ease with which we can add new family members in this field. My request is... if I need to create a new contact record using this field... can the system prompt me for DOB and Social Security number too? Many times I have to add 3-4 children at a time, and that's all the info I need... much easier if I can do it right there, than if I have to go into each contact record individually and add it later. Thank you!

  8. Provide report that would show info for all members of a family/household

    Provide a unique ID or something in a report so we can know which contact records are associated with which households. Show info for all members of a family/household.

  9. Allow the option to choose Family Category or Group Category

    A Group Category would be helpful for Simple IRA Companies with many participants, trust accounts, corporations or investment groups with several participants. The membership feature is not easily accessible like the Family Name link and seem more logical for CPA's, attorneys or other professional links to a client.

  10. Add a Photo Tab

    Have a photo tab within a client's file. We have several clients that are having kids and grandchildren and we would love to be able to add their photos into their file.

  11. Add Family Name Option for Businesses

    Give the option to give businesses a family name (you could call it business name or something different but have it work the same). We often invite businesses to events with other clients and when we pull labels with family names, we have to go in and manually add the name of each business because only their address appears on the label. We also have several businesses where we may want to send it to someone's attention and could do that in the family name because if we do it in the address line 2 spot then the city/state/zip don't…

  12. New contact from with household permissions

    When selecting "Add Dependent" from a Household, to create a NEW contact you are not given the New Contact screen. A contact is simply created without the option to edit the contact prior to creation. If you use permissions to divide your database, this results in a user who is unable to see or edit the new contact they just created.
    The two solutions I can think of; Give the option of creating the new dependent via the new contact screen, where the user can set their team permission. OR have the option in settings, to give new dependents created…

  13. Spouse link - default button to save a search and a click

    Wherever we have the ability to link multiple contacts (workflow, notes, activities etc.), I'd like to have a button that automatically links to the contacts spouse, IF the contact has a listed spouse in the database. 99% of the additional contacts that I link are the contacts spouse, and it'd be great not to have to search for the contact every time.
