  1. Broadcast Email Templates: Picture

    It would be nice to be able to copy and past a picture from our desktop. Our pictures that we would like to be able to put into our emails are saved on our computers not online.

  2. Workflow generated with each instance of recurring activity

    Having the ability to have a recurring activity trigger an automation that generates a workflow would be helpful. Right now the automation only starts a workflow when you create the activity. when the activity recurs the automation ignores it. This would help with our billing & review process.

  3. Data import

    We really need to be able to perform data imports on our own, to import data for new clients via an upload file. It is cumbersome to have to enter data by hand or to have to email support whenever we need to enter new client data into Redtail.

  4. Add " Registered Domestic Partners" to Marital Status field.

    Add "Registered Domestic Partners" to Marital Status field. In the state of California many couples elect to remain as Registered Domestic Partners as opposed to Marrying. The term "Life Partners" does not necessarily equate to a legal binding union.

  5. Be Able to Keep Track of Multiple Review Dates for One Client

    Is there any way we can get two more slots for different reviews? We need one for Life Insurance Reviews and one for State Planning Reviews. This would be beneficially for the clients that have just insurance accounts with us, as well as State Planning accounts. This would also help for us to know which clients are only Insurance and State.

  6. Please make All Account fields available on Custom Export Templates

    Please make All fields available on Custom Export Templates. There are many Account level fields not available. Like Account Payment info.

  7. Custom Export more spouse fields

    When creating a new custom export, all of the spouse's information is not available to add. i.e. retirement date, age etc. All of the information is in redtail but cannot be exported. Can we add those two fields?

  8. Group Access to Email history

    Since Redtail can divide access to contacts by "group" level, it would be nice if everyone in the same "group" could see all emails to and from clients in their "group". This way an admin would be able to see a complete history of emails for a client, no matter who sent the email.

  9. The "begins with" feature of the database search does not work.

    The "begins with" feature of the database search does not work. For ex: I have several Client Status' that begin with "Client", such as, Client, Client-Spouse, Client-Child, etc. When I request Status begins with Client, Redtail only returns "Client" and not the other categories that begin with Client.

  10. Ability to set privacy settings to client account values

    We are wanting to set privacy settings to Client Account Values. We We have multiple advisors that share a crm w/ privacy settings for notes and activities just for their team. The date base owner and admin have access to see all the accounts. This works great, except that any user can click on AUM from dashboard and proceed to see client name, account type, and balance. This is would be great to be able to set privacy settings to this as well.

    This suggestion may be planned, but there is no timeline on this feature being added. This suggestion is remaining open and can continue to gather votes and comments!

  11. save and clone loop

    When you click on save and clone on an activity you opened from the calendar you get a new window for the clone activity (I use this for the followup actions from an appointment). When you save the new cloned activity, the screen reverts back to the original activity - upon clicking on complete you end up back on the cloned activity (if you hit cancel you wind up back on the completed activity) - once the clone is saved and the prior activity has been completed you should end up back to the calendar page where you started.

  13. Notes search by date

    I have tried entering a date only in the search criteria so as to be able to skip ahead directly to that date without waiting for pages to load and load. But not dates can be pulled up. Could you add this as a search filter please? It would be so helpful. And yes I did write the date in just as you have them listed DD/MM/YEAR

  14. Remove Linked account from Note

    It would be helpful to be able to remove a linked account from a note. I have linked an account to a note by accident, and I want the not to not be linked to any account and there is no way to remove the linked account.

  15. Holdings Report

    Please provide holding name and holding value for custom exports. I know I can run such a report out of my Morningstar Office program but I am finding some differences in values from Morningstar to Redtail. It would be helpful to be able to run this type of custom export to see where problems may exist.

  16. Make it possible to have an individual be a member of more than one family group.

    We have multi-generational clients who are head of households as well as beneficiaries of their parent AND aunts/uncles.

  18. Trying to add a linked account to an activity

    When I try to add a linked account to an activity, all of my client's accounts appear but they are not in chronological order. This makes it very difficult to find the right account and wastes a lot of time. Please put the linked accounts in order so they are easily found.

  19. Mail Merge

    When creating a mail merge for a business it would be helpful to be able to pull the primary contact name as a mail merge field. Example in the heading and salutation sections.

  20. Important Information Report

    It would be great to have an "Important Information" added to the Reports under Common Tasks. There are times that we want to print out the Important Info for a client review, but have to copy and past.
