  1. Show All Family and Memberships Relationships on the Same Page so that I can track Multiple Generations

The Family/household page provides a nice tree of relationships for dependents. However, when the other members become clients it creates a conflict and we must move them to a seperate contact or the head of household for children overrides address contact fields. We then must use Memberships page- which has NO easy view.

I am asking that all relationships show on the family page regardless of dependent status by having a dependent option on setup. The view would be maintained including parents grandparents kids inlaws etc. But contact data could be dependent on head of household or not dependent based…

  2. Include Trusts in the Family Portfolio Value

allow the family trusts and other entities with AUM to be linked so that it shows under family portfolio value. Instead of 'other dependent' include 'trust' or 'associated entity'

  3. Family tree

It would be nice to have a family tree view, so that you can visually see all family members linked as families or as memberships in on area.

  4. Relationship between households

When putting a family together, I think there should be more options than just married. We have some clients who become POA or even guardian of our clients and it is hard to connect them. If we were able to have more options like "Guardian of" instead of married it could make it easier.

  5. adult children

We need a Family Tree tab or a section devoted to keeping track of and quickly communicating intergenerational relationships. The membership tab should be renamed/replaced with sections that show dependent (within household) and non-dependent relationships (within family but outside of household).

  6. Household

Wed like to have the ability to capture and reference data under the HOUSEHOLD name/title (Ex. James & Virgina Smith) - - - with all the contacts info, notes, documents, etc able to be STORED & ACCESSED under that combined title. Ideally you could introduce the OPTION of storing data at the individual level - - - by clicking on the individual within the household. But otherwise, its maintained collectively/centrally - - - within the household.

It would also be helpful to see LINKED/associated contacts (Ex CPAS & ATTYS) on the home page - - - in addition to DEPENDANTS.

  7. Additional family options (not in the 'Membership' page)

Give additional options (life partner, ex-spouse, boyfriend/girlfriend, etc.) when creating family groups. Preference would be to have this in the Family page instead of the Memberships page, so that you can visually see all of the people who are linked to each other in the family tree (instead of a list in Memberships). It is also easier to navigate to the Family page, so that this information would be more accessible.

  8. Family member relationship

    Two things here...
    1) When a client's marital status is Life Partner, the basic info at the top of their profile lists them as "Married to" when they are not actually married, hence being life partners. So...
    2) In the family member section, can we have a relationship that is Life Partner, but that has the family member stay in the spouse position?

  9. "significant other, fiancee

Today's family's are not the "normal family any more. Sometimes people dont get married, haven't gotten married yet, or will never get married but live happily after for years to come. Please add "significant other, fiancee"and any other terms you can think of that describes the 21st century household. How do gay couples call each other? Husband and wife? Even if they are not married yet?

  10. create a way for a beneficiary who becomes a client to still be attached as a beneficiary

We are having to create duplicate records when a clients child is listed as a beneficiary but then becomes a client on their own. We are not able to list them as a client and beneficiary. If we combine their records it will remove them as a beneficiary on their parents account. Would like to be able to combine them as a client and still be able to have them connected as a beneficiary to their parents account.

  11. Family Tree Mapping

With so many complicated family trees of divorces, 2nd and 3rd marriages, and children mixes among, I would like an improvement on the family tree mapping. I want to be able to look at a client and see their relationships to other clients in a more visual way than just the memberships tab. Thank you.

  12. Automatically Change Family Upon Divorce

When a client is linked to another contact as a spouse and the marital status goes from married to divorced (or similar can be done for widowed) remove the contact from family and automatically add membership marking them each ex-husband/ex-wife as applicable.

  13. Anniversary duplication

When you create a family and the husband/wife syncs together, you should also sync the anniversary dates. Currently, you have to input the anniversary in both contacts. It would save time to only input it on the head of household and then it syncs if you have created the family and put married.

  14. Household

It would be awesome when editing a client that is in a household" category" or "status", the systems prompts you choose if you would like to make the change to the rest of the household. This is would better rather than going to each member of the household to make the same changes over and over again.

  15. Add " Registered Domestic Partners" to Marital Status field.

Add "Registered Domestic Partners" to Marital Status field. In the state of California many couples elect to remain as Registered Domestic Partners as opposed to Marrying. The term "Life Partners" does not necessarily equate to a legal binding union.

  16. shared family contact address and phone info

We often don't have address info for adult children of clients. When adding an adult child to a family - we use this to group them instead of memberships - we'd like to have an option to classify them as an adult child and have that classification mean that the family head's address and phone info will NOT automatically populate in the adult child's contact card.

  17. Household Accounts

We are interested in being able to assign our accounts to a household, instead of a single contact. For example, if a household has a joint account, we can only assign it to one contact. We wish there was a way to see a household and all of the accounts that fall within their control.

  18. Combine Family Records

Combine family records to one area which would minimize input time and eliminate having to go from one family record to the other.

  19. Switching Family Head

When switching a family head of household all contact information should remain on both profiles. Currently the information remains with the former head of household and we have to key in all the information to the new head of house hold.

  20. Entity as own family/household for client relationship count purposes

I want to get a number of how many households we have total but run into issues with entities. One issue that already has a suggestion is to be able to include entities in a household (so a trust can be grouped under the family that runs it). But I also want the ability to make the entity be its own household. This is so I can then run a search for all contacts that are clients and head of households so that the count of search results would then be equal to my total number of client relationships.
