Workflow Assignments Notifications
I would like to receive email notices for the following workflow items:
1) Brand New Assignments
2) Past Due tasks that are not yet completed

I agree! If my task hit on a weekend or day off, I miss it. I'd like to be able to see past due workflow tasks just like my activities task bar above it on my today page.

Daily Alert for Workflow Tasks & Overdue Workflow Task. There is no good way to stay on top of overdue tasks.

Make this happen! It would be great to get an email saying "XYZ Task for John Smith's Workflow is due tomororrow".

When meeting with clients, my firm uses the "workflow" function to complete different steps which are all relative to that end goal of an in-person meeting. Unfortunately, there is no option to set reminders for each task, so although we may have steps due 1, 5, 10, even 15 days prior to the final workflow date, we do not receive alerts to complete the steps associated with them. In short, please allow workflows to send notifications prior to every single step added. So If a workflow's step 1 is due 15 days before the appointment, allow us to be notified of step 1, 30 days before the appointment.

In the drop down menu on a workflow task (inside of the step) include an option that would be used to alert the person that they have an overdue task and they are holding up the workflow progress. As our firm continues to grow the amount of open workflow items will continue to expand and this will enable the users to focus attention to a specific workflow task or step that has potentially been overlooked.
