Advanced Search
In the "advanced Search" filters, it would be most user friendly to include the ability to add parentheses around logical connectives to more intuitively command the account information. I'll give an example:
I stratify clients into tag groups A Clients, B Clients, C Clients, and D Clients. There are several without any tag group, and I'm looking for a list of current clients not in Qualified Plans status, who don't have one of these tags. The Logical operand is easiest explained as:
( Contact-Status-Equal To-Client AND Contact-Category-Not Equal To- Qualified Plan ) AND( Tag Group-Tag-not equal to A-Client AND Tag Group-Tag-Not equal to-B Client AND Tag Group-Tag-Not equal to- C Client AND Tag-Group Tag- Not equal To- D Client ).
The logical format would be:
(Client∩⌐Qualified Plan)∩(⌐A∩⌐B∩⌐C∩⌐D)
Currently, having spoken with Redtail CRM Support, there is no way to search in this fashion, as you have to enter one function, then the "And" (∩) operand is always formatted as a subset of the first search condition, and you can't create another "AND" Condition separate from your first conditional, as you can with the "OR" function.

The suggestion may be planned, but there is no timeline on this feature being added.
This suggestion is remaining open and can continue to gather votes and comments!

I couldn't agree more!!! Another way that they could accomplish this is letting us say all those in this quickview & 2018 RMD Status equals incomplete. Yeah, right now you can kinda do some of what you need but in a VERY in an efficient way. If I want to see a list of clients and prospects that have IRAs I'd need to say (Client & IRA) or (Prospect & IRA) instead of (Client or Prospect) & IRA. SmartOffice had this feature (couldn't do more than one layer of parenthesis but one layer went a long way).
