How can we improve Redtail Technology's CRM?

Pull profile pictures from the new Social Media address links to use for a client's contact record profile picture.

With the great new addition of social media addresses, it would be really cool to be able to automatically pull the social media profile picture over to the client's profile picture in RT.

    you can use an app called sync.me and it will update photos and such but the photos will not update in redtail, that needs to be a feature added with the new cloud integration

    Wealthbox does this without even needing the social media web address, it uses the email address(es) associated with the client profile to pull photos from LinkedIn, Facebook, etc - and automatic links to the pages

    Is this coming to Redtail any time soon?

    This one goes back to 2014, and the last update from Redtail is 2016. It is currently 2018. I hope we are not on a 2 year cycle for updates on the idea.

    Until we get this worked out, is there no way we can simply copy and paste the client's photo into Redtail Contact Record? HAving to save it to the computer and then upload the file is tedious.

    OK. How do they do it with IOS, Android, Outlook, and many other platforms and programs? It's likely that the images are subject to a login for the respective social media sites. Redtail should be able to pass that user and password without much difficulty. As mentioned, many programs and platforms already do this and have for years.

    We also looked at Wealthbox and liked this feature. They pulled in social media profile info and had a social media stream for the client on their contact page.
    Great features.
    ETA on this would be great.

    Wealthbox is doing this now, and is really slick. We prefer Redtail overall to Wealthbox, which is why we chose Redtail, but this is a feature that Wealthbox has that we loved. Also, Wealthbox would pull in all the profiles from the various social media sites (LinkedIn, Twitter, FB, etc), automatically recognize which other profiles likely belong with a particular contact, and give you the option to link the contact with the other profiles when you were in the contact record. All of Wealthbox's social media features were fantastic, imo, and it would be great to see those same things in Redtail sooner rather than later.
