My IT professional recommends VOIP partner, 8x8. I'd ask you to look into partnering with them for integrations. Apparently they are the most common and robust in the industry (according to their experience). We recently vetted the current 2 integrations - Jive and Intulse. Jive no longer has any kind of trial period, and Intulse is quite small and a bit of a risk for a major component of a big firm's operations.
Redtail’s Product Owner has read the suggestion and there is some internal discussion needed in order to determine next steps.

I agree. An 8x8 integration to track calls would be an excellent feature.

8x8 integration would be a huge up-level in the capabilities of documenting client calls.
This would allow us to Click a phone number in CRM to dial, incoming calls would prompt a search of CRM from caller ID data, schedule activities, and make notes about a call without having to search for a client. This would be very useful for our office and would make it easy to make notes in CRM when anyone takes a client call.

Please consider VOIP integration with 8x8 or Nextiva, which are both larger, well known providers in the business VOIP space, with much more robust platforms to support advisors' needs.
An integration with the 8x8 phone system would make it possible to track outgoing/incoming phone calls from Redtail listed phone numbers. Would be as helpful as the email integration tool and as confirmation when confirming client conversations, wire confirmations, etc.
