Remove default options in database lists
In Database Lists... there are default options we cannot remove. I understand that it's good to give us some basic directions, but there should be a toggle switch that allows us to "Turn Off Database List Defaults" if we are comfortable with our own framework and do not need Redtail's. Those extra no frills options really clutter up the dashboard!
More information is needed internally before a decision can be made. Nothing is needed from Redtail clients at this time. This suggestion is remaining open and can continue to gather votes and comments!
Our firm is using Contact Categories to pull specific reports that we review on a quarterly basis. Having the preset category options has been confusing our new team members because there are more options than what we tell them that they can select. It's causing holes in pulling the reports we need. Contact and Personal Client should have the option to be removed.
I completely agree with this suggestion. There are several defaults that are good to have in order to begin understanding the database. However, once our firm has input our desired items in each list, the Redtail defaults just tend to add clutter and confusion for the rest of the firm. The items are not being used anymore, rather they are just taking up space and causing confusion.
We'd like the ability to Remove preset categories - contact and Personal client. We've added the ones we use that pertain and make sense to us. Thank you
