Activity Owner vs. Attendee Permissions - Prevent Unauthorized Editing of Activities
We would like to see an ability for "lock editing" on activities so that *Only the person who created the activity can make changes. All users and attendees can view, but only the creator (or designated user (s)) can edit.
There needs to be a way to set permissions on an activity for users…
For example, I need my co-workers to See my activities, but I do Not want them to have the ability to Edit my entries.
"View only" permissions...this is a common feature on Outlook and Google calendars. It is an expected capability and should be a standard feature on RedTail. Moreover, it is not an unreasonably complicated or futuristic request to implement.
Please - I have a coworker who is constantly changing my Activities' Categories to suit HER calendar layout needs.
As a result, she messes up my calendar/color coding process by changing the category, thereby altering the color of the activity on My calendar.
But as the owner/creator of the activity, I *should be the only one allowed to make those changes!
PLEASE add it as an Option to "Lock" the Activity and/or set it so other users/attendees can *Request** changes, but cannot just make changes to others’ activities willy-nilly whenever they please…That is a very Serious Security issue.
Thank you.
