  1. Show fund number in the break down of an account

    When you click on the account in the clients profile it gives you a break down of the fund names and their tickers which is great! Can there be a column that includes the fund number as well? That would be very helpful

  3. Sort Accounts & Assets by Balance

    We would like the ability to sort by balance in two areas:

    1) Contact Level - To sort accts within a contact from highest (at top) to lowest value.
    2) Account Level - To sort assets within an acct from highest (at top) to lowest value.

  4. Filling Account Fields

    When I type in something in an account field like the company and it is exactly like one of my choices on the drop down, consider that my way of selecting the existing drop down option. Like I type in LPL and it still suggests LPL. It wastes time having to select that to clear it so I can see the product type field. Its a little thing but could be a bit smarter.

  5. Link more than two contacts as account owners

    I have a trust account with 3 trustees on it and I can link two of them as owners but not the third. I need to be able to link all of them. I would also like to mark them as Trustee, not owner. Basically you need a section in the account to Link contacts and let us pick the contact and what they are (similar to how memberships are linked)

  6. Account Renewal Reminder Date - Auto Renew Feature

    The reminder date should have the option to auto renew until a particular date in the future to minimize the time to MANUALLY update this field.

  7. unlinked accounts

    I'd like to see a column on the unlinked account screen that shows Rep # or Rep Name. This would be very useful for new employees who do not know the names of the clients and what rep they belong to. This will enable them to link accounts to the correct client for their particular Rep.

  8. Custom View

    I would like to be able to customize the Account and Contact views to remove data sections that our firm does not use. This would allow our users to find information much more quickly without scrolling through the same areas over and over that we will never use.

  9. Import Account Transaction Data

    Import Account Transaction Data: Can u add ability to import account transaction data from any feed connected. I.e. TDAI or an insurance company, etc ....

  10. Add option for hiding closed accounts.

    Currently, we can filter to hide family accounts, and non-primary joint accounts. We also have the option of hiding all accounts, but it would be very helpful to be able to hide closed accounts-only.

    link held-away accounts to new opportunities that are created. When inputting a held-away account have a link to create a new opportunity to establish a plan to absorb those assets

  12. When you run a summary report of accounts, especially for a family, show the family name and not the head of household name.

  13. It would be great if all the pop-up windows were moveable

    Whenever a pop-up window opens it would be great if you could move it around to see the information behind it. Like any other computer program!

  14. insurance

    There should be a seperate section for insurance products rather than lumping them together with investment accounts...unless its a cash value policy. Implement the seperate section so that all the various insurance data options are available to customize for Term life, LTC, disability, health, auto, casualty, etc.

  15. closed accounts default status

    Closed accounts should default to not being included in account graphs (accounts tab), reports, or any other search as they are, by definition, closed and no longer relevant. Perhaps add an option to manually include closed accounts if information is needed but they shouldn't be showing up by default.

  16. Add more FEE input functionality.

    There are several suggestions already posted for better functionality regarding input of fees. Here's an attempt to wrap them all into one that maybe could get some traction with Redtail. We all may have different methods of charging clients but there should be a way to have our fee schedules linked at the account level. At a minimum, having a section within each client account to simply input this information should be available. At best, we would be able to add specific tiered fee schedules on a "per account" basis. A spot for financial planning fees whether hourly, retainer, or…

  17. Mail Merge Letter with an auto command for an account number

    When creating a mail merge letter, have an auto command option for a client account number entry as well as name, address etc. Having to manually add account numbers to letters is very time consuming. To be able to have it merge just like a name or address would be very helpful.

  18. In accounts we should be able to add a place to name the account and not just see the account number

    In the account section, it would be great to have a place to put in the name of the account as opposed to just seeing all of the contacts account numbers.

  19. Householding accounts

    Be able to household accounts together instead of having to click back and forth from one account to the next. Have all tasks, notes, e-mails listed on one household, so that it's condensed into one.

    Redtail has read this suggestion and there is some internal discussion needed in order to determine next steps. This suggestion is remaining open and can continue to gather votes and comments!

  20. More options to link accounts to multiple contacts

    Currently I use the owner section of an account to add the joint owner of a joint account (and it is correct) so I can see it under the joint owner as long as I am displaying non-primary joint accounts. Sometimes I want to link parties that are not owners. I want to be able to link the account to a few contacts but have more choices than to call people owner or insured. In particular, I would like beneficiary, trustee, grantor, custodian as other options. These would be categories for people important enough to have the account show under…
